Just be careful on that trampoline, SW.

Good idea about the de-cluttering Jinny. Think I may need to investigate doing this - especially if it generates some extra pennies!
well its a book by julie morgenstern called SHED when organisation isnt enough. I borrowed it from work but it is on ebay or used on amazon quite cheap. She is an american lady but down to earth tho. She has a rather unique approach to clutter with both physical and life clutter. The main idea is to picture your life the way you want it and then work towards clearing the junk that doesnt support that vision. so say you really finally wanted to learn to paint water colours but lost interest with card making you would keep all your paint stuff but dump card making clutter and drop the craft class. goes deeper too with people work ect, its really good.

    Thanks Jinny,

The book sounds really good. Think I may investigate - I certainly have a lot of stuff to get rid of!

And thanks for the kind words, Rosiedee. I am gradually returning to normal - but am off for an early night! Lots of housework to do tomorrow!

    Night all.

Sneaks out of lurkedom to say

1 Followed the thread from day one and am thrilled to see the Mouse that roared! Ann, be proud of owning up to your debts, facing them head on and having the guts to deal with them.

2 Don't need him as I have no serious debt (just trying to find a way to stop spending) but Niddy is a REAL HERO (Banks/Credit Cards earn more than enough from us & he shows a way to fight back legally). And I support Rangers too, can't be doing with those left footers! One of them even asked me to look after the silverware as they want it back next year - the cheek of it!

3 I love Gunwharf :-) Bought my outfit for my Niece's wedding there and saved £110 Maybe I have learnt something here! (But I still need shoes!!!!)

Mouseann you have given me an idea to start ebaying to raise a bit cash. I have looked into it before and have an account but got scared of the process also a neighbour of mine got scammed big style so i am a bit nervous. I noticed on your thread in the earlier posts someone gave you links to the ebay threads on mse. Peeps would help me im sure but i do really need a step by step idiots guide.

    Morning all,

Jinny if you log on and go to 'sell' on the top left of ebay options. It has instructions you can follow. Hopefully someone clever can come on and cut and paste instructions.

I cannot believe Maty Mo has so much in common with us all.

Ann i hope headache has gone. I am doing housework today. And putting hundreds of sheets of paper from observed lesson (so unethical and ungreen) into recycling!!!!

Hopefully everyone is in bed having a lie in but i am so excited i woke up a bit early.

I hope NID is ok. He is very quiet. Hopefully he is having some well earned sleep too.

Always good to hear from someone who hasn't previously joined in the discussions. I really appreciate your comments - please do continue to lurk or even contribute.

    Hi Jinny,

I think 3Dogs and SW have already helped with the Ebay issue - please give it a go, it is also fun to watch to see if your items are in a "bidding battle".

But, please, don't do what I did a couple of weeks ago. Put about 4 things on there and estimated the postage! Unfortunately, they sold, but not for very much, and then when I went to the Post Office I found it cost me more to post them than I received as payment. So, my advice would be to get an estimate from the Post Office and then add on perhaps an extra 50p just in case .... (The people at the Post Office here are more than willing to do this) My fault, I know, I just didn't want to be accused of over-charging on the postage!

    Morning SW,

Yes, thanks I feel much more like a human being this morning! Best of luck with the housework - will be doing some myself shortly.

And you are right about NID being quiet - we really miss him on here!
