I got told I would be refunded £46 but my bill only came to £44

And that was with 2 boxes of thorntons chocolates. So I may have actually been paid £2 :T

I have now posted several times on here regarding this fiasco.
In my inbox this morning, the email from Tesco's was awaiting me regarding my refund. My whole order was collected- charged at 'per item' price (not even the 3 for 2 that it was supposed to be - rolls eyes) so they owed me £118.50 including delivery charge which the duty manager said I would get back as clearly it was not my fault!!!!!! By the way I didn't even get the offer to keep 9 items.
There is no refund on the delivery charge and the 'lady' at CS has just told me and I quote 'not one person has had their order honoured' I almost lost it but didn't and when I told her she was mistaken she said the most anyone has got is 9 items!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She couldn't help me regarding the delivery charge as it has been agreed with the Duty Manager and its his department. Sally

Sally, I'm so sorry..how incompetent is Mr T! (No offence to the helpful/sympathetic staff). Surely they cannot refuse to refund your delivery charge if you have had to send the whole order back due to their HUGE mistake.??!! Perhaps try phoning again in a while to speak to someone else..just "forget" you had the previous conversation about refunding? I hope you get it sorted. Everyone should be treated the same and should no be punished for Mr T's mistakes!

Recieved my delivery last night, ordered 01/03,:j 6 items short and no delivery note (machine broken). Rang the 01382 number at 08.30 this morning and spoke to an advisor who stated she would call the store and check the order. I had to call back an hour later as she had not called me as promised but luckily I got straight back to her she said she had checked with the store and I had not been charged for the missing items. Stated my bill was £87.50 (goodness knows where they got that from as I received 30 items, bill for all 36 was 174.00). I explained that I had worked out the total of the ammended order should be £13.50 (£10.00 off first order)and she said straight away that she would refund the difference so that I paid the 3 for £2.00 and send me an email to confirm. Received email with refund confirmed for £74.00, we won't quibble over 30pence at 10.02 today. Was expecting and ready for a fight, but no problems at all and the advisor was really lovely. Wooh hoo first time I've managed to get a real good bargain on a glitch and I am seriously happy and off to bed now as I worked nights last night. Oops icon in wrong place............need to sleep

I have my 9 items. Delivery man took back remaining items.
Phoned 08457225533 to sort out refund. No problem. Should receive email confirmation of refund shortly.

    Thanks so much!!

    I'm absolutely gutted now....:(
I refused delivery when it came at full price. I don't suppose there is anything I can do now. Gutted gutted gutted.

well my g/f refused delivery when he showed up with my order (albeit 30 of 33 items had been substituted for completely different shampoos) and i called to query it and he agreed to resend the ones for free that had been in the order today. i would definitely try, what have you got to lose?
