Hi-sorry...have not had a confirmation email to say what my refund is yet.CS called when I was out this afternoon and dd picked phone up. They told her I would be getting a refund(didn't specify amount) and said they would send an email. I'm wondering if they are ploughing through a load of refunds and will get round to it. Or they have not done a refund:eek: Has anyone else had delays on refund emails ? Usually they do it as they come off the phone. I will be a tad annoyed if I have to chase this up given it is the company's !!!! up...and even more annoyed that they appear to have been treating everyone differently. Boo Mr T:(:hello: SHARING THE LOVE (OF A BARGAIN) x0

wow - gutted I couldn't get to a Tesco to take advantage of this one. Well done to everyone who did (and online too).
I think the OP deserves a medal, as well as the thanks from everyone who took advantage. It's going to be a while before we have another spot as good as this one.0 -

i didnt get an email after CS verbally agreed my refund - i then sent an email to check and still no reply finally phoned them again and it had gone through but no idea why no email
finally received an email about 24 hours after phone call - not sure if it was in reply to my email query - i suspect it was - or if it was just an email confirmation of refund

Well I saved £489.25.
If everyone posts the amount they saved in total (in this post) we could collectively see how much Mr Tesco has been screwed for. :rotfl:
What do you all think?0 -

My email came through about half an hour after the call, but it turns out having read that email that the lady I spoke to was in fact a customer service manager so I would imagine that if you dealt with someone in a lower position it may take longer for a confirmation to come through,.
A few people have been told that refunds over £25 have to go through an authorisation process.so I imagine that would delay things further.
Depending on what time you agreed the refund amount, I suspect the managers must have been overwhelmed by authorisation requests, this "glitch" must have caused CS mayhem! In other words I wouldn't panic too much but if it was me I think I would ring to check in the morning if I still hadn't heard anything!

Just had my delivery. Ordered 15 items, 4 were OOS. Delivery man asked if I was taking advantage of the 2 for £3 offer! I said No, I was taking advantage of the 3 for £2, but had been charged full price, well.. 3 for 2 price. I phoned CS who said I could keep 9 products as it was a mis price and would have to take 2 to a shop. I moaned that our local Tesco was not close by and she said they would collect 2 of the bottles. It will cost them more in petrol! Anyway she said I could choose which products I kept and she is taking off the delivery charge as well. So in the end I have paid £5.70 for 9 products. Happy with that. Many thanks to OP.0
