I know this is as far off topic as could be but I don't know where to ask so will put it in the wrong place anyway.
Does anyone know if you can change the view of threds so that it shows the forum in reverse ie. last post first? (or where should I ask this?)

Went to a tesco in Notts last nite and loads of everything left on shelfs, no labels anywhere, tried 2 different bundles of 3 at self checkout and didnt work, went back for a look around and found some others stating 3 for 2 (not £2) so took 2 lots of them to till thinking they might work on 3 for £2, they didnt either but brought them anyway as labels said 3 for 2, went to cs desk, she said ill go look, i said ill come with u , she said no it doesnt matter, i said no i will because they were on an end isle and not with other shampoosso i can show u straight away where there from, she promtly took loads of sels off shelves.
Anyway she tried to say i could get just the overcharge back, i said i thought it was tesco policy to do dtd (no sign up anywhere) she said no because the sel is out of date its just the overcharge, so i demanded i spoke to her boss, she came along telling me the cs lady was right and that dtd didnt work on out of date sels, i said well i want head office address and phone number, after alot of moaning she finally gave me dtd, so although not 3 for £2 was still a good price for 6 bottles, never tried for dtd before, is this correct about out of date sels not doing dtd????
Did get chatting with the boss and she said someone at head office had made a hugh mistake (with the 3 for £2, should of been 3 for 2) and was probably going to get in lots of trouble as they had lost Tesco £100's it had been pulled at midnight on the 1st but would take longer to get it off the website.

No, thats just Tesco CS lies

If you get charged more than the price on shelf (out of date or otherwise) you are entitled to DtD.

Try ringing Tesco CS and see if they agree, my guess is that they wont.
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

well i gave CS a ring on the numbers given and a nice fella called Michael got me the only three items that were on my original order not to be substituted arranged to be redelivered tomorrow all for free and a £10 voucher for the trouble. Not quite my own stocked salon but I guess it could be worse! Cheers to the OP for the spot.

I went to User CP (green bar at the top of the thread, 3rd option from left), then from the menu on the left choose Edit Options. 3rd box down is Thread Display Options, in the first drop-down box you can choose Linear - Newest First. That should do it I think.

Hopefully someone will be along with a quicker way to do it, but that's how I found it :)

    .

As PlushChris said, no, it DEFINITELY includes out of date SELs... the instore CS staff were either misinformed or lying!
Out of interest, which Notts store was that if you don't mind me asking? I'm in Notts a couple of times a week so often pop into Tescos in the area when there are misprices around and it would be nice to have advance notice of where to expect an arguement, lol :)

Oh, and good on you for standing your ground! Too many people give up at the first hurdle which is what Tesco seem to rely on, us Brits are too embarrassed/lazy etc to argue things that are wrong, more of us need to take a stand! :D

O magic that worked. Thanks so much for that.

    Back on topic
Is it just paranoid me that has had the confirmation refund email but is still refusing to pamper their hair on the off chance that the refund still deoesn't come through right. The bottles are calling me but I simply refuse until the money is back in the bank.

Lol, no it's not just you... but I have the bonus option of just using the stuff I managed to get in store for now :)

I'm sat here chuckling to myself that Tesco think they are gaining interest on my payment while they faff about doing the refund, but as I paid on my Tesco Credit Card they simply borrowed money from themselves, LOL!
