Just had a reply to my email...

    "
I'm sorry to learn that your bill doesn't show up the special offers for your grocery order and can appreciate the inconvenience caused.

I would like to let you know that, the offer price will not show on your confirmation email, we will deduct any valid special offers and multi-savers on the day of your delivery.

However, when you place your order the amount given as the total cost of your shopping is only a guide price. There are a few reasons why the total on your confirmation may be different from the amount charged by the store.

    1. Loose Weight Items: for loose fruit and vegetables and for fresh meats and cheeses the correct prices can only be charged when they are picked and scanned. That is because their weight varies.

    2. Substitutions: any items that are out of stock and are substituted, will also affect your total.

    3. Price Change: although we try hard to maintain our website so that our prices online match the prices in-store, there can be daily price changes, so we can't always guarantee they'll be exactly the same.

    4. Special Offers: your confirmation email doesn't show special offers. But this will show on your delivery documents.

I trust this will have explained the difference in the totals and thank you for taking the time to ask us about this.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us at customer.service@tesco.co.uk "

I have received my order and was not surprised to see that the discount only showed 3 for 2 (cheapest free) I contacted CS and was told i could only have 9 products on 3 for £2. (ordered 18) I was adamant and refused their offer. I stated that i had now gone overdrawn and it was their error and wrong for them to charge me more. Other promotional items also did not show correct discount. After a while on hold i was told i would get a full refund. Hope you all get your orders fulfilled.

My order is due for delivery this evening (ordered monday night)

My guide price included the offer so its £24, just checked the status and it says its been picked!

So if the driver turns up tonight with all the items but charges me the £160 (or whatever it would be) do I send him on his way or do I take the order then phone CS?
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

Take the order and ring C.S. I would try and make sure you have multiples of 3 to make it easier.

My driver said the signature he takes on delivery is purely to confirm he delivered the items as listed on the sheet of paper he gives you, he confirmed that in no way is that an acceptance of the price they have charged me and advised me to ring CS :D

Sorry, I have no idea as my order that has just arrived is my first ever order but it could be true, Tesco certainly do different things online than they do instore. Maybe it would be worth you finding an item with extra points next time you are instore and then looking it up online when you get home to see if it shows the offer? Sorry I can't be of more help :)

Grrrr, still no call back and I just tried ringing the direct line that the lady from CS gave me and she didn't answer... hopefully she's just gone to get a bigger calculator or something ;)
