tescos glitch 3 for £2 on shampoos

Hi there. I decided to try an order last night as it was still showing as 3 for £2 - I ordered 6 shampoos and 3 conditioners, plus our normal toiletries/cleaning/household goods. I'd been thinking of trying 'professional' product like this, but having seen the full price had decided not to buy them, until I saw this post - I didn't manage to get any codes to work, so I would never have done the order online if it hadn't been for this offer.
It is now showing as full price on line, but I do have until tomorrow morning to cancel. So, I've done a bit of browsing, and the following is a quote from the Consumer Direct website:

All the supermarkets have agreed with the OFT to make it clearer how their online shopping schemes work, including:- upfront information about their pricing policies and how the online shopping process works
- ensuring special offer prices quoted online are treated as firm prices for orders that are to be delivered in the offer period - how long the offer lasts will be made clear
- easy access to the terms and conditions.

My order was due yesterday between 5 and 7pm but was not delivered. Delivery was re arranged for today between 3 and 5 but is going to my SIL. Decided to clarify about how this is going to work now they've taken off the offer. CS says the offer was taken off because they were getting so many calls for refunds! They have been told to honour 9 products at a cost of 6.00 and any remaining should be given back to the driver. So guess thta's what I'll ask SIL to do!:(
Mine is due to be delivered tomorrow also.
I have emailed asking what's going on with the whole deal etc but not had a reply yet.0 -

How much did you order, they would only refund me 9 items.... It looks as though it's hit and miss with what you get back.A glitch a day, keeps the doc away0 -
after hearing about everyones issues yesterday i wondered what to expect when my delivery showed up last night. needlesstosay it went without a hitch, out of 33 items ordered, only 3 hadnt been substituted for something completely different (8 bottles of Aussie colour mate shampoo anyone?) Of course all for the princely sum of £93 to boot. I couldnt tell the lovely young man to go away quick enough, every little helps indeed.0

i made mt phone call at around 3pm yesterday - emailed yesterday evening
no refund confirmation or reply to email......
not sure what to do - dont want to nag at them but am concerned im going to end up paying full price even tho guy on the phone said yes to the refund and worked out how much:j MFi3 wannabee :j

I'm waiting for my delivery now as it is due between 10am and midday... had a text this morning confirming it too... I have my preference set to "no substitutions" so I'm intrigued to see how many of my items turn up
As soon as I get it and have the conversation with CS I'll let you know how I get on
