Morning folks
I'm waiting for my delivery now as it is due between 10am and midday... had a text this morning confirming it too... I have my preference set to "no substitutions" so I'm intrigued to see how many of my items turn up
As soon as I get it and have the conversation with CS I'll let you know how I get on
good Luck :beer::j25 nights in Orlando 3rd May - 28th May :j0 -

Hi,
What is really making me angry now is seeing how many customers have been allowed to keep their orders (no offence to those who have been successful by the way) whilst I was not offered the '9' items which have been mentioned many times on this thread. I too am waiting for a phone call (me thinks it will be a long wait) and I really don't know why this is happening when the Duty Manager told me last night that he will arrange collection!!!!!
This is totally unfair they way Tesco's are treating their customers but I suppose nothing has changed there! I think I must have been too nice on the phone. Sally0 -

It is very unfair... and very Tesco
I have to admit that if I get someone really horrible on the phone when I ring CS I may have to allow my cat to press the phone buttons and cut me offShe genuinely does that but obviously usually I spend phone calls removing her every 10 seconds... goodness knows what her fascination with the buttons is

Bambam82 said this in an earlier post: "I accepted the delivery and promptly phoned CS (0845 722 5533 - saynoto0870 equivalent is showing as 029 2062 2972)"If a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside!0 -

I'd hope the second number is free for those of us with free daytime calls, I'll certainly be trying it
Incidently, and completely off topic, be slightly careful in assuming 01 and 02 numbers are free, I used saynoto0870 to find an alternative to an 0845 for a company a couple of months ago and used an 01 alternative... and got charged for it by Sky because apparently it was Jersey :eek: Turns out it would have been cheaper to use the 0845. Only happened to me that once though.
Edit: In future if I find an alternative for a company and I don't know where they are based, I will google the area code of the alternative to check it is mainland basedThe Tesco one appears to be Cardiff

Had my delivery this morning, no substitutions :j. Two phone calls to CS and I have my refund, no queries or problems, and no mention of a 9-item limit either. They were polite and efficient, it was all sorted within half an hour (they rang me back, I wasn't on the phone the whole time!) and I didn't have to moan or complain whatsoever, so can't fault them at all.
Many, many, many thanks OP :grinheart
And sorry to hear others are getting rubbish treatment from Tesco/CS people, it really should be the same policy for everyone0
