I'm up for running the challenge in April.
Start of the final week, it's been a long month and tough at times, but that's more to do with me not planning or making my lunches the night before, having the same thing for 4 meals in a row was not good experience but had to be done, I've only paid for one lunch so far and will be buying another as a treat sometime this week.
On the plus side I know I'm saving at least £10 a week, Like La escocesa I've started paying £10 off one of my credit cards every week.Nearly debt free

thoughts of you all kept me on the straight and narrow this morning! Leftover risotto, apple, dried apricots for me today. And a bun brought in by colleagues :-)
Two days to go!!!
Thanks for running the challenge NTBY and Mr Green. I will be in for April!!

I can only manage 13/14 this month due to personal leave, but I'm still quite proud of that..... chicken and rice for me today, and once I know what I'm having for dinner, it'll be leftovers tomorrow.....
Bring on April.... I will be better, because I need to lose weight too! Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
LB moment - March 2006. DFD - 1 June 2012!!! DEBT FREE!

Hi,
this is good and I feel insprired, so have given it some thought!! Baked another potato last night when cooking other things and brought it in to heat up today. I did buy some tubs of cottage cheese and some tins of beans at the supermarket yesterday, but they are purely to keep here at work to have with my jacket spuds, or with toast if I bring the bread in. Saves having to think too much at home if I have stuff here. I guess that counts still though as I didnt go out and buy a sandwich!
I can't guarantee to get on here every day to keep things updated, but can I still play?0 -

Hi all
Tuna and cucumber sandwich today, with an apple and some dried fruit - and buns courtesy of the work food stash :-)
Last day tomorrow!! Hang on in there everyone :-)0 -
This sounds like something I should be getting my teeth into in April
. Currently spend far too much on lunches, although I do like a treat once a week so probably going to aim for 4 out of 5 in April.
Edit: I'm due to be working 16 days in April so going to aim for 13/16 days with no spend0 -
Thanks MrGreen for offering to run this fab challenge in April - hope I haven't missed the new thread!
I'm on course to reach my March target of 20 days today - assuming I can resist the lure of the vending machine - but haven't had a proper think about April yet...need to check my busy social diary <ahem>!May NSDs 10/11 (Feb 8/10, Mar 11/10, April 11/11)May save on lunches challenge 12/18 (Feb 16/16, Mar 20/20, April 18/18)0 -
