Miserable Mothers Day here, my Mums on holiday, my son probably won't remember (he's still out as yet), my two stepchildren don't bother ususally.
Well dont feel on your own, with dhs mental health problems (he has borderline personality disorder), he is very selfish and not only does he not "do" anything for us as a family he wouldnt even dream of helping the eldest one of our 3 three to make the day special for me. So i had a little self pittying wallow then got on with things as usual:(.
Big hugs to you both NJW and Nab. jhy41y.gif

Bit scary, but I have booked myself a little mini cruise to Spain! My first time abroad and I'm going alone.
Good for you vicster, I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time. Make sure you pack lots of pampering goodies to take with you. :)

you're all so good and i wish i had some of your dedication, i feel like i'm slacking as i get bored of items halfway through and stop using them :embarasse i'm trying to perservere with some body lotion at the moment so hope it gets used up soon!
Mine's more desperation than dedication to be honest!!! :rotfl:Maybe try using a different product at the weekends so you don't get bored so quickly.
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/

i think it also has something to do with me not being too girly girly, i go through phases, i buy things with the intention of using them ie body moisturisers and such but then get bored of applying them - not so much bored of the product? ahhh i think i'll just need to perservere with them until it sticks in my head that i can't do without it every day! lol

    Paint you nails monday!

I've been thinking about it and think I'll go dark purple this week...I have nails again!
Dark nails sounds lovely - if this weather holds up we might have to switch to the pastel colours soon:p at the moment i have irish flags painted on each nail courtesy of a St Patrick's Day Parade yesterday...I'm rather attached to them now :D might top them up and keep them for the day on Wednesday!

    Hello all!

I've been AWOL for a couple of weeks due to hols and just being so busy since returning. But I am still on track (except for a minor slip up today with some Body Shop essentials - essentials I tell ya!) I have not bought ANY toiletries for weeks!!! :)

I've used up numerous little samples while on hols so will put £5 in the virtual savings pot for those. I also used up the end of a Champneys Vitamiracle hand cream (mum's - she couldn't be bothered scraping the ends out of the tube lol - so I did, used it on my feet with socks and got 3 nights out of it). WIBA - yes, it is lovely. I also (FINALLY) used up a Klorane mango conditioner this morning, and said good riddance to it as it went in the bin!!! WIBA - no, no, no! AWFUL stuff. Don't touch it with a bargepole, ladies! I still have a little bit of the matching shampoo to use up, gah. Think I got them on BOGOF ages ago so will put in £3 for the conditioner.

Off to try to catch up... 27 pages eek!!!!

It's good to be back. :D

funny story from little sister...swears its true

a friend who had a snake that she allowed to roam free in the house woke up to find it on the floor next to the bed ridged and thought(for some strange reason) it had swallowed a broom handle. She and OH managed to get it into the car and take it to the vet who said I will have to put it down.seems that snakes go like this and lie next to the victim they are preparing to eat to see if they will fit:eek::eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:and that it was too dangerous for them to keep, made me laugh but could have been nasty!

Aww, thanks for all your lovely comments, you are all lovely! Jacjacjac, any tips you have for travelling alone would be great! I'm hoping if it's not too scary it will be the first of many trips. I can't wait forever for my boyfriend and best friend to get a passport!

Have finished off a nivea face moisturiser, not sure whether I would buy again, will see after I've tried a few different ones!
