I normally do mine on Sunday, but am doing them tonight instead. I'm going for a pale goldy pink tonight, as I had to file my nails right down at the weekend, so a dark colour wouldn't look as good on them at the moment.0 -
Yep doing PYNM - No7 Stay Perfect Milan. Its quite shimmery and a lovely shade of purple - the No7 Temptress stayed on really well from Friday night until this evening so I am hopeful this may do until Thursday.0

Hi everyone! :hello:
Gosh I'm having trouble keeping up with this thread! Anyway, think I better write down a quick update to keep me motivated.
Over the weekend I managed to use up a random face mask I found in my stash (just looked it up online and it's a Montagne Jeunesse Aromatherapy Mask apparently). One of those things that just seem to jump into my Boots basket without me noticing... Also used up a free sample of Pantene time renewal conditioner, which was actually better than I thought it would be as I'm not usually that keen on Pantene stuff.
Got some lovely S&G bits for mothers day too, which was fabI have enough exfoliator to last me sveral months! Am slightly addicted to the Sugar Crush body scrub - are you sure you can't eat it?! It smells heavenly. Also got some of the Fab Pore facial peel, which I'd definately buy again.
My next task is to go through my makeup bag, there's lots lurking in there, of which I only use about 5 thingsAm also going to paint my nails as have quite a few nail varnishes lying around that desperately need using up before they go gloopy.
Right, off to read through the rest of the thread now!

I've used up a full size of the Elemis Visible Brilliance Serum today. WIBA? No way - have not noticed any difference to my skin and would have sent it back to QVC had it not come in a kit with the cleanser and toner that I wanted to try out most. The cleanser is proving not to be so brilliant either. Let's hope the toner does something. x
Hi, thanks for that. I had tried some of this serum in one of the department stores (having read SO much hype about it). Right know to give that one a miss then. You could always write to Elemis about your disappointment?Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

ooohh, I got one of those little Sanctuary boxes for Mother's Day too! Didn't notice a voucher in it though....must go and have another look.
Vicster, I started taking hols on my own a few years ago now and I just love it! Just planning my next one atm. I go 2 or 3 times a year now. You'll have a great time! It's so nice not to have to please anyone except yourself!!
For some reason, my hair which is thick and straight has been full of static for the last few days and absolutely driving me mad. Any ideas?? I had the roots done at the hairdressers on Friday, usual routine and products. Washed it as usual after that and yesterday it was terrible. I had to almost slick it down with Brilliant Brunette gel stuff as the fringe had wispy bits flying up!! If I put my palm close to my hair, it was attracting the hair IYKWIM. Really unusal for me and very annoying. What's going on??
I had been covering it a couple of times a day (putting on and taking off make-up and to dry it after shower) with a turbie-towel thing which I bought recently........I made a mistake though cos the original turbie towel I had was cotton towelling and this new one is a horrid, syntheticcy microfibre, which catches on your skin IYKWIM. Do you think this synthetic thing could have been charging my hair with static.....or is this being stupid??0 -
Hello all! I've been AWOL for a couple of weeks due to hols and just being so busy since returning.Bigglesworth wrote: »Am slightly addicted to the Sugar Crush body scrub - are you sure you can't eat it?! It smells heavenly.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0

Bronnie, I have been mad with static over the last fortnight. I seem to find that as the weather stats changing I get a build up. Don't know whether it's because the heating is still coming on (although rare) and the sun makes it warm in the car during the day?
Not using body lotion atm. Although I'm not overly keen on the smell of the ted baker body wash it seems to be very moisturising. I had dug out an old sun cream for moisturiser recently but it was so thick that it was leaving me sticky. I would apply after my bath and my legs would still feel yuk, tacky and slimy 14-16 hours later. Will just use it on feet now.
May dig out the ted baker matching body thing tomorrow as I'm using the body spray atm. I'm so fed up of cool water that I can't bring myself to wear it for a while. It's like I can only smell grapefruit from it. Shall use up this body spray and then use my vera wang for a while. Then go back to cool water or a different body spray.
Wonder how long it is until the end of lent? We will be opening our last tube of adult toothpaste soon and I hope it keeps us going long enough, don't think I can face using the kids toothpaste.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
