used a small body shop strawberry body butter - WIBA? no! I feel very sticky and smell like strawberry jam lol0

Indeed I am, but always a day early
not finished but thought I'd comment on YSL french nail pens(about £25 on the plane last year)WIBA def no if you use more than 1 base coat it goes pink and smeary(is there such a word?!) and the white pen is impossible to do well on top of nails so I do under and it gets on the fingers and sticks!0 -
Morning all. I'm steeling myself for another visit to Boots this morning to try and exchange the four handbag sized tubes of John Frieda Frizz Ease.....
I'll test the water for a refund onto a giftcard first I think, but if that's a no go I'll just exchange them for some Flixonase nasal spray as my hayfever has been horrendous these last few weeks.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -

a friend of ours also told us this was happening to a snake keeping friend of theirs. Friend had a big python that suddenly went off its food and was seeming more 'affectionate' (if snakes feel that emotion) as it seemed to want to keep laying next to him. He contacted someone thinking the snake was ill and was told get shot of it its starving itsself to make room for you and keeps sizing you up to check if its got enough space yet:eek:. He donated it to a zoo i think.
Had a lovely pampering session yesterday used up a little sample bottle of Spa shampoo that i got free WIBA well if im ever lucky enough to win another weekend at Pennyhill ill be sure to stock up on the freebies:rotfl:.
used a sachet of sanctuary salt scrub. (have more in stash) and a M&S peel off face mask.
threw away a gloopy bottle of nail polish after an unsuccessful attempt at doing nails:mad:. Did nails using some sally hansen hard as nails as a base coat (its quite thick so that may be the problem) used some of the avon nail drying oil on top of the top coat waited about 1/2 hour before doing anything then managed to smudge my polish to such a degree that it all looked thick and cloggy took it all of and last night did nails again using the hard as nails as a base (again) and 2 coats of a no7 polish followed by top coat. all i was doing was watching tv. id smudged 2 nails before going to bed and having done a small bowl of hand washing this morning polish is peeling off in sheets. Can i assume the sally hansen is past it and throw that as well please:DSPC~12 ot 124
In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0 -
Forgive me for I have sinned, caught caught up in the BS glitch yesterday so have some moisturising cream and lip balm on its way to me.
But...
I have used up a FCUK body scrub - WIBIA - yes, smelled lovely and had a really nice texture,
and a Boots Meditarean show gel - WIBIA - probably not but I only paid 20p so would if I saw it again at that price!
and a Time Delay hand cream - WIBIA - yes but I have about a million hand creams to get through first and this goes back to the Boots Time Delay skin voucher a few years back when I got it free and 200 ACM points back!!Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -

Feeling a bit bad overall these last few days anyway so didn't want to cause a scene.

So far it's sticking, sorry yours went awry
I can commiserate on the shortness though, as I was an awful nail-biter for most of my life and even though they're still weak and break at times, I know that they grow back in no time, as shall yours
Sorry you chickened out Babafette; next time perhaps?0 -
I thin the cats have been readng the stuff about snakes on this thread. I was ill last night and have been sleeping all day. The cats woke my up at lunch time my taping my face trying to force feed me half a slow worm!
I managed to chip a nail in bed/being ill over night...a little finger one...weird.
I've missed my skincare routine today: the cold sore is miraculously subsidingthough, and I will have a bath this evening...so I will use products0 -
mineallmine wrote: »Hi, thanks for that. I had tried some of this serum in one of the department stores (having read SO much hype about it). Right know to give that one a miss then. You could always write to Elemis about your disappointment?
Thanks for that, think I will. I know I am not alone in this opinion though as I'm also a forum member on shoppingtelly.com and other members have expressed a dissatisfaction with it as well as some of the reviewers on qvcuk.com.
Today, I've finished a 200ml bottle of Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic which I actually decant off into a 30ml spritz bottle as I find the product lasts longer when used in a fine spray. WIBA? - not sure, I am on the hunt for my HG toner and did think this was it but surely there are others out there that are just as gentle but cheaper. In my stockpile at the moment I have a bottle of Champneys (which I bought some time ago from Sainsbury's when it was reduced), a bottle of Elemis toner which came with the set mentioned in my previous post and another LE one. Considering the LE one lasts a good 4 months I won't be repurchasing hopefully until next year anyway. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
