What darling little cats you have, they must love you very much! Mine keeps bringing worms into the house for me, but not tried to feed them to me yet!:rotfl:

They brought me a mouse later in the day. While I was actually being sick they sat next to me wailing (they are siamese) and headbutting me for reassurance or moral support or something. They are funny.

Today I finished off a Botanics moisturising deep cleanse foam and a L'Occitane cherry blossom shower gel.
Was very disappointed with shower gel as I found it had a very synthetic aroma. Won't be buying that again :(

Thank you! I've been feeling the need for cherry blossom with all of it about so much (I'm not normally a trend follower but cherry blossom can be a lovely scent). I think you've just cured that for me. :)

    Good morning everyone.

I have a question. In rummaging around for conditioners/treatments I found a John Frieda treatment for highlighted hair that I've bought at sometime because its reduced. It says its for ''honey and caramel'' highlights, and to use the correct treatment for your highlight colour. My highlights are....plentiful, and none of them hony/caramel...althoug some of my own hair is...in fact my highlights ATM are copper, strawberry and very, very light blonde, and I have chocolate colours through....so...um...lots of colours...does this mean I shouldn't use anything for a paticular colour of hair? if I treid this is my hair likely to go darker? or the other colours fade?

Should this go in my ''get rid box''?

OK, well I tried thi s on monday and then while sick didn't really look at myself :o just caught a glipse of my hair and I'm shocked: its gone MEGA brassy...the red is almost metallic, the blonde (which was cream) really....well brassy. This is most definitely not something I will ever use again. It was just looking its best between colours too. :(:(

Not sure what to do about my hair now:(:(:(:(

Well, not been on here for a week or so.

My eczema had flared up all over my body, head and face. It has been really red and sore and bl**dy itchy.

So, I stopped using all the "new" stuff from my stash and went back to the tried and tested things and eventually it has almost gone, just a few patches here and there now.

I have emptied a S&G Clean Girls down the plughole, I had only used it for a week and filled the pump dispenser up with the boring old Radox shower gel. Emptied a shampoo and conditioner down the same plughole and filled the pump up with the Tresemme which is ok at the minute.

Threw away 4 cans of Tommy Guns volumising mousse bought when Boots discontinued the range and 2 cans of hairspray from the same range.

Also threw away 2 Maybelline mascaras, a No7 foundation and three mosturisers of various brands.

All of the above have made my eczema flare up. I am very sure now why they were only part used, seems they have done it in the past.

So, now on the stuff I know is ok, Asda sensitive facial wipes, Christian Dior capture r60/80 moisturiser. The Sainsburys gloopy wierd body whip, Max Factor foundation and Maybelline lash stilletoe mascara.

I have been so sore and red it was untrue, think I have just learnt the lesson I needed to, I won't be buying anything different to use unless something is discontinued!:T

a friend recommended Aveeno cream as said it was good for her DD's eczema

I've been having problems recently with photos, but thought this was one I could comply with, having saved loads of the cats in the past...but I can't find ANY of my photos on the computer... I put them all on a stick recently, only...um, nt sure where the stick is....

..if I find them I'll post one. They are cute, but I would say tht, they are my babies, in a mad cat woman with no children way.

Right, used up a Jamelia enriching shampoo (madly trying to fade my hair now).

Removed nail polish and re doing. I'm buying some peep toe shoes tomorrow, I want my feet to look great in them when I try them on. :)

    That's brilliant, vicster :T

I also used to travel a bit on my own back in my 20's, and am really glad I did. You made the first huge step by booking it, so I know you'll be fine. Most people don't even get that far, and usually regret not reaching out when they had the chance.

    Good luck :)

Good to have you back, tara :j

Body Shop Essentials today? Hmmmm, that couldn't be a few sale items for about the £5 mark could it? ;)

    :D

    Urm, no comment :rotfl:

thevicster, I too applaud you for booking a solo holiday. As Bronnie says, you'll have nobody to please but yourself and have a lovely time :)
I almost feel free of the mad toiletries buying, I walked through boots the other day as a short cut and I wasn't even temped to look, let alone buy anything, hurrah!

Well done!!! I'm at the same stage, it is very liberating. Now to delete the Body Shop site and the Grabbit board from my computer... :o
Welcome back Tara! :hello: How was your holiday?

Brilliant thanks. Lovely weather and a very relaxed week, I had a great time. I didn't want to come home!!
