Mine is a british shorthair and she thinks worms are funny. She has just started to go out into the big wide world and all she could catch was a worm. I love cats they are brilliant.
Yours sound great too.
Sweet! I only half joke when I say that between the two of them I expect venison to be brought home at some point.........:eek:0 -

Lost, have you got any Head & Shoulders? It's supposed to be very good for fading colour - I've seen it mentioned a lot when people have had hair dye disasters!
After yesterday's lapse, I was taking no chances and went straight home after work :rotfl:Did I mention I also had a bit of a clothes spend in the M&S sale? I only went in for a white vest top, came out with new underwear and two pair of jeans and forgot the vestThe shame....

No, I have no H&S. I wonder if DH's coal tar yuck might do it...or my dad's t-gel?
get the vest tomorow, and new underwear is always a good thing.0 -
Finished a couple of bits this morning. A No 7 Mini mascara from a long gone GWP - can't remember offhand which variety (possibly extreme length) it was but it was OK. WIBA - it was good, but not that good, and I have tried other mascaras that I prefer. Also a bottle of J'Adore perfume - this was the alcohol free summer version - WIBA, no. nice enough smelling, but nothing special.
Mascara-wise I've got a part used Maybelline Define-A-Lash one to use up next - I like this so it will be no hardship. I'll get out one of my mini perfumes to use I think, not sure which one yet.
I did finish a hand-soap in the bathroom at the weekend - the last bit got too small to easily use so I gave it to OH to stick to the bar he uses in the shower. We've got a few bars of soap about now so when the liquid one runs out I'll swap to using bars for a while. Other things on the "home straight" now are the Olay Total Effects cleanser - I'm guessing I'll cut the top off the tube tomorrow and it'll do another few days after that. Probably one more go in my Crabtree & Evelyn body scrub then it's on to the S&G Scrub of Your Life. Toiletries for holiday are all packed into my sponge bag now apart from my P&P serum which will go in at the last minute. I'm taking one of the cans of Dove from the recent glitch and will probably bin it rather than bring it back.
LiRTo fade hair colour quicker if you have a build-up removing shampoo try using that - it might help.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Tara, thanks for your kind comment. I'm getting quite anxoius now! However, I am so not going to back out!
Have used up an Avon handwash (wiba - nope, didn't like the smell), Simple body wash (wiba - nope, boring), body shop indian gardenia bath/shower gel (wiba - nope, discontinued) and will have finished a nivea night cream by tonight (wiba - maybe, it seems to do the job)I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -
Quick update on products from me!
Finished:
- Mini Molton Brown Relaxin Yuan Zhi bathing gel. It smelt very nice, but I don't think I would buy it at full price (!), even if it is still sold (it was very old!)
- Sachet of EA 8 hour facial cream. It was actually very nice, made my skin feel soft and had a refreshing lemony scent that wasn't overpowering. I have loads of face creams that need using before I consider buying any more, though!
- Sample of nettle oil conditioner from the Body Shop (given to me last week...). Was ok, hair seemed to like it reasonably, but I can't tell from just the one application if it was fabulous.
- Johnson's 24hr moisture hand cream. Received to trial for a magazine. Was ok, but definitely not great. Sometimes if I rubbed my hands together lots, the cream seemed to get lots of bits, which I then had to rub lots more to get rid of, or wash my hands. I should be using cream after washing my hands, not washing them after using cream! I don't recommend this one.
- Boots double faced cotton wool pads. Definitely will buy again (but won't need to for a while, as even after opening a new packet, I still have four packets in the stash!) I like these and have found it a waste of money to buy any other sort.
- Mini M&S lavender bath creme. Foamed nicely and smelt nice, but I'd probably stick with the Waitrose ginger or cinnamon cake ones, or the M&S coconut one from now on.
- Couple of other sachets that I can't remember (obviously weren't that great!)
In:
- Don't think I admitted to the Body Shop vitE bits I got on the previous glitch (3for2 and £5 off with free postage). I got two packets of face wipes and a body butter. Am looking forward to using the wipes after I've read the reviews on here!
- Body Shop ginger shampoo and honey conditioner. Bought after reading review someone posted a link to earlier on this thread! Was a birthday pressie to myself, as it was my birthday on Saturday. They were 2for£9 and then 20% off and then I got my £5 birthday "gift" off too, so worked out at £2.20 cash for the two bottles.
- Body Shop samples: nettle oil conditioner (used above), the new lemon body scrub, vitE face wash and vitE face lotion. Looking forward to using these.
- LAMB fragrance (30mL) and body lotion and body wash. £8.55 minus 37p cashback. A belated Christmas present from bf's aunt (he was given money and told to get me something, this was part of what I chose). We both like the fragranceWill get the bigger bottle next time I order it, which won't be til it's almost used up!
Have been good really - was very tempted by more Body Shop glitches, but resisted!
I've been getting spots on my scalp for a while now, mostly at the back of my head, just above my neck. I'm trying different shampoos to try and find one that gives me as few as possible, and am hoping the ginger one will be good. Has anyone here had similar problems and found anything that works?
Sorry for such a long post!0 -

What are you apologising for? Confessions are good!
I must admit, I got a few spots in my scalp from bad shampoos and Tresemme has sorted it out, but I'm not sure if it isn't a case of different strokes for different folks and it might not do it for you. Try your ginger shampoo first to see if it makes a difference, then perhaps try the Tresemme or something else.
Best of luck! Please call me 'Pickle'

Me too with the scalp spots
. I have a large one almost like a boil which has been there for ages. It's almost gone now but don't think the shampoo has anything to do with it either way. At the moment I'm using a Boots baby conditioning shampoo (bought by mil for DS when he was little
) and tresemme conditioner. When these are gone I'll be onto a John Frieda shampoo and conditioner (I hope to God this conditioner's not like the phlegmmy one :rotfl:).
Couple of big spots coming up today and noticed that I keep popping over the top of my bra so I reckon I'll be due on soon. I hate the mirena coil, I'm on and off all the time .
Given up on the cool water for a bit and using up the Ted Baker spray. Still not sure but boy does the body wash go a long way.
DS (6) and DH (older than 6!) have rebelled and are using Lynx green shower gel. DD tried to too and I told her she'd smell of farts if she used it! I can't be the only one who has to use TB!

Well, not been on here for a week or so.
My eczema had flared up all over my body, head and face. It has been really red and sore and bl**dy itchy........I have been so sore and red it was untrue, think I have just learnt the lesson I needed to, I won't be buying anything different to use unless something is discontinued!:Trosemary54 wrote: »what's worse than a dead mouse in your shoe?....half a dead mouse!!!
don't you just love cats:rotfl:
I hope the day comes when the unknown pond owner in my 'hood fills it in with earth as I'm sure they realise my killer kitties (I've got 5, all very cute) will eventually deplete the frog population by bringing me lovely little 'gifts' of frog remains.
Then we can go back to just finding dead birds, which even though are still unpleasant, they are far more tolerable to dead amphibeans0 -
