Finished off some barefoot doctor body lotion today, it was so runny I used it as a body wash! Wiba - nope, rubbish!

My dentist added to my stash today with toothpaste, mouthwash and interdental brushes, will come in handy for travelling!

I've still got some Barefoot Doctor in my stash - I think it's actually been discontinued now! Bought a load when it was reduced to about 50p an item in Boots.

Some of it is really nice! If you have the orgasmic bubble bath (pinky colour) that is gorgeous, smells really good! Think it was discontinued a few years ago now :rotfl:

    Hia,

Had a spend on make-up the other day, but realised my stuff was getting low and there wasn't much choice of bits. Need to watch it though, don't want it to build up too much.

Ref the scalp issue - I found L'Oreal shampoo really upset my scalp (and a friends) - used an anti-dandruff shampoo (Asda own brand) and that helped it enormously. I used to be fine with L'Oreal but they must have changed the formulations, all that root lift malarkey.

Also second the poster about Boots double faced cotton wool, they are really good quality. Thoroughly recommend them.

Not really used anything up. Seem to be at a bit of a standstill. Off to bed with Champneys body butter, some eye cream and face cream and hand cream with gloves on! Night all.

Oh, you've been so brave admitting that - and thevicster has nearly guessed it - so I suppose I'll come clean

    it was Coleen :o:o:o:o

Never have I been given a gift, said 'you shouldn't have' and meant it so much! Oh well, all gone now :A:rotfl:

Nothing to report, I'm still working my way through my stash.. just gonna attempt to epilate my legs. Waxed a bit of them last night, but couldn't be bothered getting bendy enough to do the backs :rotfl::o

Next mothers day, young lady you need to take yourself off for a day spa and get truly pampered. S*d em, you deserve it xx
    Couldn't agree more :T

Vicster, have a fab cruise! :j
Little bit sad as I've found a s&g product i don't like! I didn't ever see that coming! I'm really not keen on Clean Mary, it left me feeling really greasy so I threw it in the bin with about half left as I had nobody to palm it off to!:(
I didn't like it either, didn't really do much IMO :undecided

IlonaRN, Happy Birthday, hope you enjoyed your day.

Since my last post, I have bought 2 products but paid with my Boots points. I bought a soothing eye make up remover from Botanics, it was reduced to £1.99 and it's great to use, definetely a WIBA. I also bought an extra softening hand cream from Jergens - I had run out of hand cream so really needed a new one. WIBA? Not sure yet, my hands still feel really dry but then they are very dry at the mo.

I am sure that I read on this thread that someone had a dry, itchy scalp. I can highly recommend using the snake oil bar from Lush (a scalp treatment), £4.15 for 55g. It's quite messy but it works a wonder form my scalp. I then wash my hair as normal and finish off with a conditioning scalp mud from Dead sea spa magik from debenhams. This really calms my scalp down and makes the scalp feel slightly cool afterwards.

In the last week I have used up:
    * a schampoo bar (a freebie from Lush) - WIBA? - not for me, it made my hair feel really dry.
    * Palmer's concentrated cream - WIBA? - It's a lovely product but again not rich enough for my hands, smells gorgeous though.

Good luck to everyone with this challenge.

Thanks for this Becky - I was going to ask if anyone could recommend a good eye makeup remover as I'm nearing the end of a Clinique Take the Day off at the moment, with one more mini of those in stash. I'll look out for, and try that Botanics one when I need to buy I think - much as I like the TTDO it is pricey.

Those Boots cotton wool pads are excellent aren't they - wouldn't buy anything else now

Happy birthday ILona, and Vicster, I'm another who's holidayed on my own in the past and loved it - you'll have a ball!

I pulled a mini Matthew Williamson perfume out of the drawer to use - it smells lovely but is a little heavier than I would usually use.

I'm obviously getting to grips with the whole thing now - when musing over whether to buy another bottle of TTDO I looked at the Boots bonus time offer and thought "nah - don't think it's worth bothering with!"

    - Boots double faced cotton wool pads. Definitely will buy again (but won't need to for a while, as even after opening a new packet, I still have four packets in the stash!) I like these and have found it a waste of money to buy any other sort.

I'm so glad all of you said that - I only recently started using cotton pads and they're the only ones I've ever bought; I was thinking of going a less expensive way, but I think I made the best choice already :T

Finally finished the Olay 7 signs face scrub :j
wiba? probably not, I only got it to use up a Boots £5 facial skincare vchr 7 at the end it had stopped being a scrub & had become a thick face wash iyswim

Also will finish a 50ml Boots essential aromatherapy body lotion in orange blossom & bergamot that I've been using as a handcream.
wiba? I don't think the make it any more, it was from a little gwp set that I got when I first 'discovered' the Boots thread & got addicted to Bootsing. I still have the 2 body washes I had to buy to get the freebie ....:o

So far this month I've only bought mothwash :rotfl:as we had run out :D

edited: coincidentally, we also ran out of mouthwash :o

    morning all

    used up
lush 'you snap the whip' body butter WIBA Nooooo, covered you with a thick black sludgy smear that left the bath lookingg like a coalminer had soaked his overalls in it.
avon rich moisture face cream WIBA not really for me felt too thick and greasy was nicer as a rich hand cream to be honest.
will use up a few sachets later doing hair washing and conditioning and a face deep cleanse and mask session.
