[QUOTE=IlonaRN;30953605
Was a birthday pressie to myself, as it was my birthday on Saturday. They were 2for£9 and then 20% off and then I got my £5 birthday "gift" off too, so worked out at £2.20 cash for the two bottles.
IlonaRN, Happy Birthday, hope you enjoyed your day.
Since my last post, I have bought 2 products but paid with my Boots points. I bought a soothing eye make up remover from Botanics, it was reduced to £1.99 and it's great to use, definetely a WIBA. I also bought an extra softening hand cream from Jergens - I had run out of hand cream so really needed a new one. WIBA? Not sure yet, my hands still feel really dry but then they are very dry at the mo.
I am sure that I read on this thread that someone had a dry, itchy scalp. I can highly recommend using the snake oil bar from Lush (a scalp treatment), £4.15 for 55g. It's quite messy but it works a wonder form my scalp. I then wash my hair as normal and finish off with a conditioning scalp mud from Dead sea spa magik from debenhams. This really calms my scalp down and makes the scalp feel slightly cool afterwards.
In the last week I have used up:
* a schampoo bar (a freebie from Lush) - WIBA? - not for me, it made my hair feel really dry.
* Palmer's concentrated cream - WIBA? - It's a lovely product but again not rich enough for my hands, smells gorgeous though.
Good luck to everyone with this challenge. No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j0 -
morning all
got a stinky cold this morning woke up feeling like something had crawled in my mouth and died:(.
had legs and eyebrows waxed yesterday so not much else in the way of pampering done as i cant use products for 24 hours.
hope everyone elses pampering and not bying is on track, must admit im very tempted to buy a planet spa foot cream tomorrow as its at a really low price and its brill, i have got other foot creams so really need talking out of this, i have got a nail treatment coming tomorrow that i ordered from the last catalogue.
im using a sachet of Garnier ultralift deep wrinkle A at the mo and must say im very impressed i have quite a deep line at the bridge of my nose ive been massaging a little into it night and morning for a week now and it does look less pronounced than it was now is that because this product really does what it says on the packet or is it just because im paying such attention to it so any moisturiser would do?
Oh and i won a benifit lippy yesterday by having a flake with my mid afternoon coffee:TSPC~12 ot 124

Well done on the lippy!! :j
Not sure about your question, try doing the same massage with a different moisturiser and see what happens.
Happy birthday IlonaRN, you are doing so well at using things up!!!
My Klorane mango shampoo seems to be lasting forever gah! Still at least one more use in it. However, I am also nearly finished a Tesco McAdam shampoo so that'll be two used up shortly. Yippee!! Need to decide what to start on next (I do have some dregs of other shampoos so I guess I should be sensible and use them up first).
Am all body buttered again, I don't normally bother after a morning shower (am in too much of a rush) but I took the time do put it on this morning and feel much better. I'm still on the Sanctuary stuff, I love it. I prefer evening showers in winter as I can get all body buttered and pampered, sit in my soft bamboo robe and towel (and socks!) and let my hair dry naturally... bliss. Morning showers are a rush job!!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Finished of a No7 Protect and Perfect Serum this morning. It was one I was half way through so it went fairly quickly. WIBA yes as I notice a big difference in my skin even though I have only been using it a couple of weeks. In saying that I have several other tubes and pots of it to use up before I do buy any more so will have to wait. Now to decide whether to start using another full bottle or whether to use some of the sample ones I have - decisions decisions:p0

Have 8 no7 vouchers which I'm planning to use on new nailpolish.
I do need bodyshop vitamin e wipes as only have 1 pack left but need a good glitch to justify buying them.Love can tame the wildest0 -

Hey, those getting itchy to spend might want to know I had a reat experience on the samples front to day...they were trowig stuff at me....I only asked for a sample of foundation and came away with four other things too.
Its better than retail therpy its FREE. Samples have been hard to get for a long time, so I stopped bothering much, but it seems the slow shopping means they ar keen to help. I also have to say the customer service was FANTASTIC today. The ebenift to them is I really will go back and buy if the foundation is right: I wuldn't take stuff unless I was seriously considering it so I'm feeling pretty chuffed.0 -

I found that yesterday too, I got a couple of Estee Lauder bits for free... I also keep getting offers to do my make up, so that has been fun!I'm buying No More Toiletries, I'm Deluttering and I'm Losing Weight for 2010!0 -
Had to buy some toothpaste today as we were on the verge of running out, but I resolutely resisted the temptation to buy anything else (although I did have a look at the reduced section in Boots, but only as it was right next to the tills).
I used up a sample sized Clarins Hydraquench moisturiser today. I have to confess I bought a travel sized one of these on ebay, to see how my skin goes with it on a regular basis, as I need a richer moisturiser at this time of year.
I also used up a Salcura moisturiser sachet last night, as something I used brought my skin out again. I suspect it was a small Skin Doctors sample pot I found and used the night before, so that's gone in the bin. Salcura WIBA? Yes, I think I'd buy this to use as an emergency overnight face calmer, as my skin looked fine this morning. Doesn't smell great but I can live with that.
Currently working my way through the most massive tub of Laidbare body butter - this is fab and so moisturising, and the smell is fabulous.0 -
Finished off some barefoot doctor body lotion today, it was so runny I used it as a body wash! Wiba - nope, rubbish!
My dentist added to my stash today with toothpaste, mouthwash and interdental brushes, will come in handy for travelling!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0
