This is what I used recently when taking a break from Oil cleansing and its nice for a cleanser, but not as great for me as oil cleansing. I'm planning on keeping it for when friends come to stay etc....because it is better than many I think.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I have to confess yesterday I was tempted - and I gave in. Boots had some Skin Doctor stuff reduced. I've always wanted to try the perfect pout and since it was reduced to 4.99 decided to try it.

WIBA? Definitely not. It's vile, unbelievably sweet tasting, and quite frankly I saw no real difference, other than a slightly rosier colour. Slightly tingly, but nowhere near as bad as Too Faced Lip Injection. I'll be staying with Sexy Motherpucker. Serves me right for not sticking to my guns.

Also bought Avene Diroseal anti-redness cream for £2 reduced from £21. I've used this before and really liked it but didn't want to pay full price for it.

I'm quote cross at myself for the Skin Doctors stuff though, because I haven't impulse bought in so long and thought I'd got out of the habit. Think I'll blame pmt and hormones and just move on :rotfl:

    morning all

going to have legs waxed in a bit so havent used body lotion on them this morning, felt strange not doing it now ive got into a routine.
Managed to use up a little spray bottle of Lancome aromatonic spritz this morning. (really embarrasing how long thats been hanging around i know i was pregnant when i was given it as a free sample and DS is 10 next month:o)
threw away 2 rock hard dried out dust covered lush massage bars i found lurking on top of DH cupboard last night:mad:
tried again with nail polish (its my 3rd attempt this week) so far so good apart from the fact i managed to spill some on my skirt:mad: luckily it was a dark plum skirt and pale pink polish i managed to wipe it off quick while it was still wet and gently dabbed the remains with remover.
did toe nails dark plum this morning.

hope everyone is having a good pamering session sometime during today

This (Tri-Enzyme wash) is what I used recently when taking a break from Oil cleansing and its nice for a cleanser, but not as great for me as oil cleansing. I'm planning on keeping it for when friends come to stay etc....because it is better than many I think.
edited to add product being referred to...

The Tri-Enzyme facial wash is not a cleanser. It is a treatment wash you use after cleansing.
I wish they would rename it, as I know it confuses a lot of people.

Oh, well...maybe that why it wasn't all I hoped? They sold it to me at a spa as a cleaner, with the mask to use, and....I dunno, a couple of other things. :o

Well, not been on here for a week or so.

My eczema had flared up all over my body, head and face. It has been really red and sore and bl**dy itchy.

So, I stopped using all the "new" stuff from my stash and went back to the tried and tested things and eventually it has almost gone, just a few patches here and there now.

I have emptied a S&G Clean Girls down the plughole, I had only used it for a week and filled the pump dispenser up with the boring old Radox shower gel. Emptied a shampoo and conditioner down the same plughole and filled the pump up with the Tresemme which is ok at the minute.

Threw away 4 cans of Tommy Guns volumising mousse bought when Boots discontinued the range and 2 cans of hairspray from the same range.

Also threw away 2 Maybelline mascaras, a No7 foundation and three mosturisers of various brands.

All of the above have made my eczema flare up. I am very sure now why they were only part used, seems they have done it in the past.

So, now on the stuff I know is ok, Asda sensitive facial wipes, Christian Dior capture r60/80 moisturiser. The Sainsburys gloopy wierd body whip, Max Factor foundation and Maybelline lash stilletoe mascara.

I have been so sore and red it was untrue, think I have just learnt the lesson I needed to, I won't be buying anything different to use unless something is discontinued!:T

Today I finished off a Botanics moisturising deep cleanse foam and a L'Occitane cherry blossom shower gel.
Was very disappointed with shower gel as I found it had a very synthetic aroma. Won't be buying that again :(
