Tried to get this today in Tesco but it had been removed (big gaping hole in plastic seal) from all of the magazines. Probably plenty on ebay.0 -

They also like the Rimmel one, which apparently has a little brush on the eye. I've found a MAC one (it's the only MAC thing I've ever bought) to be really good and it's a twist up. I saw a make up artist use on a TV prog, think it was something like 10 years younger. :A
I'm getting the Soap and Glory Arch de Triomphe eyebrow pencil ( Beauty Steal Award) for Mother's Day. Dd got it for Xmas and I keep borrowing it. It's clever cos 1 shade is supposed to suit all? It's perfect for me, I find most brown pencils too warm in shade for me and look unnatural. This is perfect and is double-ended with a fab highlighter. Place a subtle line under the arch of eyebrow and it gives the effect of an instant brow lift.

Anyway, not much used up, my bar of soap is still going strong (was it January I started it??) despite nightly showers. Reckon it's going to keep going til June y'know:(.
I bought 2 new nude lipglosses (last one finished up), L'Oreal Glam Shine and a Lancome one for £1 each in TJ's.
Talking of reusing old containers, I made a footscrub last week. Filled a BS body butter tub with sugar and topped it up with oil. Stirred it up then added a good few slugs of a perfumed body lotion. It looks and smells just like a shop bought one and is doing a good job!! Very MS:money:
I need to buy more shampoo and conditioner this week. I love the Dove in the pinky lilac botttle. Is Dove on offer anywhere? Can't bring myself to pay more than a £1 for it now!!0 -

It really doesn't suit me, looks really, really fake and nasty. But glad it suits you.
I am pretty sure there is nothing like that that will really, really truly be one thing for all....0 -
I have a dilemma that I hope you can help me with.
I have a Body Shop card, and they have a 20% off promotion tomorrow (today now!) and Friday this week.
It is also my birthday on Saturday, so I have £5 to put towards something from there anyway (and it says on the voucher they sent that it is AFTER discounts have been taken off).
Do you have any suggestions? I'd prefer something that's already on offer, so I get a double offer, so to speak.
I've considered the ginger shampoo and honey conditioner that someone posted a link to a review of - they're on at 2 for £9 for the medium size or a bit more for the bigger size. Are there any other good offers on at the moment? Or any recommendations for things I might not have tried before? (I love the hemp hand cream, but seems a bit silly to buy some when I got some at Xmas for £4 a tube).0 -
It's the most perfect shade for me, I've ever found.:T
Although my hair was/is (!) very dark brown, my eyebrows have always been a mousey brown, not a warm brown and my colouring is cool, not warm. I couldn't believe how perfect this was when I applied it!!:D
I'm surprised it was fake looking on you though, because I think the shade is actually more subtle than many pencils I've tried......although I have to say I don't do high-end for this sort of stuff, so maybe I should have looked further!!0 -
Right, I've showered, washed my hair, moisturised and used a vial of Umberto Giannini Spa Rituals Brightening Plus Hair Elixir. What a mouthful!!
Does this get used before/after or instead of conditioner? The instructions on the pack aren't very clear. I have some to use up too. It's rather expensive at full price + probably not worth it.Dreamscometrue wrote: »Tried to get this today in Tesco but it had been removed (big gaping hole in plastic seal) from all of the magazines. Did somebody steal them or did Tesco remove them? Hope you went somewhere else to buy it. I've used the moisturiser and it made my skin feel a bit tight. Must try it a few more times to be sure. Probably won't get a second one.I bought 2 new nude lipglosses (last one finished up), L'Oreal Glam Shine and a Lancome one for £1 each in TJ's.

Morning ladies :hello:
Update on usage first:
Boots No 7 Younger Longer Hand Cream (trial size) - WIBA? Definitely, however I can't find it anywhere as it was part of a GWP that I received some time ago. It's probably been re-packaged as another No 7 product, but it had a lovely scent and did the job very well :T
Trevor Sorbie Colour Preserve Shampoo (travel size) - WIBA? No, again, not too pleasant smell but did clean well. Like the conditioner I used up recently, I still have a full-size still to use
Boots No 7 Blissful Body Wash (trial size) - WIBA? It's such a lovely body wash, nice smell and foams up lushly, but may find similar products for less money. Like others, though, I have to agree that it was certainly a treat
Boots Skin Clear Blackhead Fighting Cleanser - WIBA? This was leftover from my near-militant fight against shine and large pores, whereas now I use a gentler approach to my slightly older skin  It was a good astringent, but whether it was any better or worse than other toners of its ilk, it's hard to say to be honest
Boots Skin Kindly Gentle Facial Scrub - WIBA? Not likely, even though again it's been discontinued it seems. I didn't use this, had it for years, and when I opened it the tell-tale signs of old age were all too apparent. I only microdermabrase these days anyway, so it was a relief not to have to step-back to standard exfoliation.
Had a job interview in another town yesterday, so popped into their local Debenhams and got myself 3 more Clarins mini-treats and a Lancome Genifique sample with voucher from Easy Living magazinelostinrates wrote: »I have a question. In rummaging around for conditioners/treatments I found a John Frieda treatment for highlighted hair that I've bought at sometime because its reduced. It says its for ''honey and caramel'' highlights, and to use the correct treatment for your highlight colour. My highlights are....plentiful, and none of them hony/caramel...althoug some of my own hair is...in fact my highlights ATM are copper, strawberry and very, very light blonde, and I have chocolate colours through....so...um...lots of colours...does this mean I shouldn't use anything for a paticular colour of hair? if I treid this is my hair likely to go darker? or the other colours fade?
In fact, this was covered in the Beauty Steals book that someone had mentioned earlier - *and just for anyone's information, I've seen it at Sainsburys for £4.50!* - they rated a brunette colour treatment for all shades of coloured hair, as it worked the best regardless of someone's colour
Hope that helps0 -

I had to rummage to the back of the pile in tesco to find one that hadnt had the moisteriser stolen!!
I have used it twice so far and I must say I like it and am being tempted by the 20% off voucher to go get some more0 -
Don't blame me, I only spent 25p :rotfl::rotfl:
p.s. looking back through my posts probably isn't recommended:cool::p
I ended up spending £25 on the mums day offer plus £5 for a new card for discounts BUT as I went through quidco(thanks for posting that as never used)I got £5.40 back so now paid for membership and after that went onto halfprice perfumes for the boujairis(?spelling)lip gloss offer and got some more money on quidco
i bought some Sally hanson nails hardener, emery boards and cuticle cream at about £1 each (big discount) so have really been bad:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
how did yoy spend only 25p tho on the mums offer??????0 -

Have you worked out if it would be cheaper to just buy another magazine with the free product, instead of using the 20% voucher ?0
