Hello ladies, hope you have all had a good day

In my quest to find some new hobbies and get myself out of the house more (again kids have effectively killed of my social life) i am going to a "Zumba Dance Class" tomorrow (insert nervy smilie) its apparently a nix of latin dance including salsa mixed with toning and aerobic moves?!!? I am going on my own too so am a bit nervous as dont do much exercise, have put on quite a bit of weight over the last few years and also have had a bit of a loss of confidence since having the kids, as well as the rest of it. So wish me luck.

    Nab

    xx

    I do Zumba!! :)
Oh it's great you'll have a fabby time. I've been to 3 classes so far and I'm loving it.
The woman who takes my class is an inspiration, she's lost 4 stone in the year she's been doing Zumba and has just started teaching it herself.
And well done on going on your own, that's a real feat for some people and I'm sure there will be loads of likeminded women there.
Let us know how you get on, and have fun! :)

Hello ladies, :o it seems much quieter in here these days....... I hope that doesn't mean that everybody is falling off the wagon onto the wayside! :undecided

I have very little to report once again, but I've still not bought anything and have finally managed to use up the last of the Trevor Sorbie Straightening Addict conditioner and the Sainsbury's night cream. I will be jumping in the shower soon to attack my endless stash and hopefully use up some more bits.

I did buy another small four drawer storage unit in Argos in February and will sort my stash into a more orderly fashion when I have a little more time. I dread to think what it will look like when it is all in one place. I think I will need a whole drawer just for hand cream - I keep discovering more tubes in various places. :(

I keep finding stuff too. I'm working my way through vitamins etc too. I am determined to clear the decks.

I don't want to do a lynzpower (much as she knows I like her ;)) and buy umptenn things to use again...unless they are unswappable ...e.g. I can swap conditioners, but would always need frizzease and so I'm trying to work out how long things really last. I enjoy buying smellies, and so want to be able to balance having some opportunity too and taking advantage of deals...so am trying to work out what are reasonable size stashes for the future....

Nope I had this same reaction too- as did someon eelse? (ms red?)

    Its the ginger in it.

Now I avoid any ginger body items- just in case

That's interesting that i'm not the only one to suffer with this product. I thought it was because it was so old. It was really painful.

me too, its a tough one. I knew to be fair these are ones Ive already decided are positive WIBAs and the pink one really is lovely on my dry hair. Do feel rather sigh about the fact that Ive no need to buy more. Although I was kicking myself for not buying more of the sainsbugs coconut conditioner when it was 28por whatever it cost few weeks back.

Incidentally, the botanics face moisturiser is rubbish. Thin. Like a cheap body lotion.

I am kicking myself that I didnt buy more of the garnier aqua gel one whe I saw that for £2 :( that was fantastic.

Ijust didnt NEED it at the time. :(

Its definately a balancing act :(
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

This is my favourite moisturiser in the world, I love the warm tingly feeling. Especially on a cold night. It smells lush too. There are quite a few reviews online right enough where people find the warmth/tingling too much. Ginger allergy (ginseng too) is not uncommon.

Am catching up, but wanted to say:
I would definitely try the No7 blond eyebrow pencil for colour before you buy it, as I found it a very strange colour. (I have blond hair and dark blond/medium brown eyebrows).
In fact, try the pencil for colour, and if it's a good match let me know, and I'll send you mine.

I recommend the Clinique eyebrow pencil, but it's £9.50.

I started using a No7 brow pencil (bought using a £5 off voucher) and found it to be far too soft. The Beauty Bible Beauty Steals book liked it though so may have been me. They also like the Rimmel one, which apparently has a little brush on the eye. I've found a MAC one (it's the only MAC thing I've ever bought) to be really good and it's a twist up. I saw a make up artist use on a TV prog, think it was something like 10 years younger. :A

Gradually working my way through my Lush stash - I'm about half way through a 12 Days of Xmas box now. I think tonight I'll use the bath melt that looks like a lump of coal!

Since finishing off a Liz Earle foot repair cream I'm now using a Boots intensive foot moisturiser that I got to test a little while back, used it for the testing period then stopped. It's not bad, but I did like the Liz Earle more.

Finished off the little tubes of Clarins gentle day cream - I absolutely love this. I think I'll have to take advantage of the She offer.
