nair is 99p in 99p stores ALWAYS
There is another one called "beauty formulas" in a grey & pink tube, im certain it is NAIR.Ive seen this for 79p in the likes of Homebargains.
If you are lucky there is a teenage version of nair that is some sort of berry scent (? cherry?) well needless to say it doesnt smell of berries- more - er hair removal cream! This is sometimes found in 99p stores. Am on the hunt for some more as I used my last nair last night.
Otherwise nothing else to report aside from to ponder why it takes men so long to use up. I have listed LOADS of stuff ive used up and although he does use the same shampoo & cond- why has one bottle of shower gel lasted 3 months? Shaving gel- nothing finished? Its so strange.!?!? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

I'm so glad to see other people wear perfume to bed! :j
I was starting to think I was going mad!!!
Finished up 3 products over the last couple of days and my clinque clarifying lotion only has about 2/3 more uses!
Sanctuary Body Wash WIBA? No. Doing this challenge has made me realise the things that I do really like and only to buy them after I've finished my stash. This is just an 'ok' product for me and I think I'd rather spend my money on thinks I really like and feel like I'd had a treat every bathtime! So won't be buying this again!
Boots Mediterrean Grape, Avocado and Lemon Body Butter WIBA? I wish I could but I think it's been discontinued!(How long had it been lurking in my drawers?!? It was soooooo lovely and smelt gorgeous
S&G Flake Away WIBA? When I've finished the other one in my stash! It is just so scrubby, I've never used a scrub that actually scrubs! So this is fab!
I'm off for a lovely pampering session now with the DH is out! What to use next? Decisions, decisions!Saving all my pennies0 -
Hi all, forgive me ladies for i have sinned:p. I have well and truely dived of the wagon. In my defence it was a purchase i wanted to make in the Xmas sales and it had sold out.. I bought the Bulgari Jasmine Noir gift set £37 . But lukily i did have a gift card and so actually only parted with £21 and managed to use 2 different total spend coupons for 200 and 250 points plus normal points too. I do feel guilty but i know i will use it, i seem to be using up my perfume stash at an alarming rate:o.
Anyhow off to have a mooch online, so see you later.

Finished a No 7 Perfect Lips Pencil in Nude today, will buy it again, these are the best lip pencils I've ever used. Also finished a box of Twinings ginger tea.
But last night I found a make-up bag full of dark lipsticks, all expensive, and I can't see me ever wearing them again, much less finishing them. Depressing!
Hi Sophy,
could you apply lip balm or gloss first to dilute the colour of the lipsticks, if that's what you now dislike about them? I always think of dark lipstick as being for autumn or winter wear.0 -
sales addict is right sophie...sheer colour is very ''in''. I'm getting loads of use out of my red, having worn pale/nudes minly for years.
Otherwise what about asking your friends ? TBH, even now I'd be greatful for donations of high end stuff that expanded my range of colours....0 -
I'm getting the Soap and Glory Arch de Triomphe eyebrow pencil ( Beauty Steal Award) for Mother's Day. Dd got it for Xmas and I keep borrowing it. It's clever cos 1 shade is supposed to suit all? It's perfect for me, I find most brown pencils too warm in shade for me and look unnatural. This is perfect and is double-ended with a fab highlighter. Place a subtle line under the arch of eyebrow and it gives the effect of an instant brow lift.

Thanks Bronnie. I did look at that the other day and noticed it was out of stock. I am daft for keep on trying different ones, when I am happy to use the MAC one. Our Mums didnt have huge make up bags did they, I remember my mum have a Bourjois "rouge" blusher for years! If it works, stick with it! :ADeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Right, I've showered, washed my hair, moisturised and used a vial of Umberto Giannini Spa Rituals Brightening Plus Hair Elixir. What a mouthful!!
Does this get used before/after or instead of conditioner? The instructions on the pack aren't very clear. I have some to use up too. It's rather expensive at full price + probably not worth it.
For: All hair types. Finer and normal hair use instead of conditioner. Damaged and naturally dry hair use before conditioner.
How: Fix pump to Elixir bottle, shake and apply the contents evenly to clean damp hair, avoiding the roots. Massage through and leave for 2 to 5 minutes then rinse with warm water. Keep the pump for your next application.
Hope that helps.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -
Hiya
it seems such I long time since I last posted. I have been following everyones posts but up til today had not much to report as things seem to be taking so long to use up!
Today I did chuck out a clinique turn around cream, it must have been 10years old and smelt quite evil....no way was that going any were near my face.
Have some old daily eye benefits trial sizes as well but have been using this on the back of my hands as they are quite sore at the moment, was not too confident about putting it near my eyes as they are as old as the cream. Hands are looking much better.
Did use up a trial size Lancome body lotion this am, again this was old, so old that the writing had worn off, I can still smell it now.........it smells OFF have been aware of the smell all day and have been trying to stay down wind of everyone all day.:o
I am thinking about useing the YSL natural action exfoliator I bought approx 8 years ago and half the tube is left. Not sure if this a good move.I bought it when I hit 40 nd thought it was time to 'invest' in good skin care and went round all the beauty counters in Debs picked up lots of freebies, I might have turned 40 but was clearly green enough behind the ears to fall for all the sales patter:mad:
Never mind we live and learn as they say
Will think about useing a bit more of it while I file my nails there a bit to long and too claw like at the moment for my likeing. It will be pain your nails Friday for me Now which of the 15 bottles shall I choose ....decisions decisions
I still havet bought any toiletries since 10th Dec:j
Sorry for the ramble and if your still reading thanks
