Well, last night I did use the Lush Xmas bath melt that looked like a lump of coal (can't for the life of me remember what it's called) and quite frankly, I'm glad that was a limited edition. It's one of the few Lush products that I've actively hated. Didn't have much of a fragrance, and left gritty little black bits all over me. I looked like I'd been down the mine when I got out of the bath, and the less said about the state of the bath the better. WIBA? Not in a million. And hopefully this one will stay consigned to Lush's "not our best success" pile.

I'm keeping some little sample/travel size stuff on my desk at work to use up as well - Quash hand sanitiser, Liz Earle hand repair, lip balm, mosituriser, etc.

I haven't given in to the Clarins counter so far, but then again I've been at work and not been out shopping.

Pootle, thanks for the Beauty Bible, link, that's really helpful.

I ended up spending £25 on the mums day offer plus £5 for a new card for discounts BUT as I went through quidco(thanks for posting that as never used)I got £5.40 back so now paid for membership and after that went onto halfprice perfumes for the boujairis(?spelling)lip gloss offer and got some more money on quidco :)

i bought some Sally hanson nails hardener, emery boards and cuticle cream at about £1 each (big discount) so have really been bad:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

how did yoy spend only 25p tho on the mums offer??????
I use topcashback too - you don't have to pay an admin fee with them and sometimes you get a little bit more cashback too :) It's great fun seeing it all add up :T

It was a mega glitch - the £16 code worked with certain combinations and not just the one that was supposed to work so I ended up chancing my arm with 5 gifts bags (£10) and a half price cherry body butter (£6.25), minus the £16 code. I couldn't believe it worked and then actually had it delivered :j

So that's my mothers day present from DD (:o), with a S&G flake off (bought with points).

Finished up a pack of Boots Expert sensitive waxing strips last night - WIBA? Yes, I've used these before and found them very effective. Painful, yes, but effective nonetheless! Went on to a new pack tonight (I never have the nerve to do the whole of both legs on the same night since I had a bad reaction on one occasion - it left me with horrible itchy painful skin all over both legs for 24 hours, one would have been bad enough but both was :eek::eek:!!!

I keep seeing people saying how good S&G flakeaway is - I've got a mini one stashed away to take on holiday so I'm looking forward to that!

    QUOTE]

There was loads of it for £1, tagged onto the end of a Mother's Day display in Boots Birkenhead last Saturday, along with some of the other stuff from the Mediterranean range:D

I finished a 15ml tube of Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator yesterday. WIBA? Not sure. I have another small tube unopened that I'm going to take on holiday with me. At the moment I'm not happy with the cleanser I'm using and until I use up the stockpile of cleansers I have I'm going to reserve judgment on exfoliators as well. Once I find a cleanser that works as well as the old formula C&P and my skin starts behaving - at the moment it's prone to getting whiteheads again - and I don't need to use harsher exfoliators containing salicylic acid maybe I'll buy it. What I'm trying to say is that it's lovely to use but without a good cleanser to start off with I'm not sure that it's doing anything. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

i know definately am lucky! used to spend a fortune in there :) but then i found ebay - most sell them for half the price of the shop on there. i'm not trying a sales pitch for them but i really do recommend going to their stalls in department stores, they were always willing to go through and match products for me, and they are encouraged to give make overs/lessons to show the effects so you can try before you buy....then get it on ebay or buy with boots points for cheaper lol:j

i have to stop talking myself into cosmetics shopping!
