No buying toiletries in March challenge!

Editted to add...
Used up a bottle of shampoo, a tube of toothpaste and Simple moistoriser. I'll have a bath tonight and then I'll finish off my M&S Shea Nut body butter. But I've still got a honey and milk one stashed away that I can start on.
I've stopped using the Aldi night cream on my face and use it on my neck instead now. I'd hate to bin it even though it doesn't agree with my face. I've really got to drink lots more water too.
OOOPs that made a post of its own instead of editting the last one!! LOL I typed in the wrong box.Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
I need to catch up from page 18 onwards but so far still not bought anything except toothpaste and we needed that as the other one ran out this morning.
However my big news is...
I got the promotion i applied for :j:j:beer::beer::j:j:beer::beer: I am so chuffed about it!!!Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

hello everyone, am still keeping up the challenge. had a very small slip up, had to buy a mini shampoo to go in hand luggage for a trip to scotland last week. Was only £1.20 and it is the first thing i have bought this year.
On a positive i did manage to finish off quite a few sachets last weekend of moisturiser and various eye creams and lotions - made a very small dent in stash.
Am plodding on with the rest f my stash - am at the half way through or nearly finished but never ending stage with other stuff.
glad to see everyone is still trying - few slip ups here and there but i think that we are all more aware of what we buy and what we have at hometrying hard to be debt free by the end of 20100 -

My hair is rebelling... for some reason no matter which conditioner I use, my hair is so lank and greasy afterwards. It has never ever been like this... I've tried three different conditioners (including two tried-and-tested favourites) and they are doing the same.
I washed & conditioned my hair this morn... dried it... and it just looked so bad that I had to rewash it without conditioner (2in1 shampoo & conditioner). I've had to do this three times now. I know it's bad not to use a proper conditioner, but I can't deal with the lankness. It looks dirtier than before I washed it :S
My suggestion would be to initially try a clarifying shampoo to remove any build up, and then see how things go from there. It may well just be one of those hormonal sort of things which will move on as fast as it arrived.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Boots Mediterrean Grape, Avocado and Lemon Body Butter WIBA? I wish I could but I think it's been discontinued!(How long had it been lurking in my drawers?!? It was soooooo lovely and smelt gorgeous
QUOTE]
There was loads of it for £1, tagged onto the end of a Mother's Day display in Boots Birkenhead last Saturday, along with some of the other stuff from the Mediterranean range:D
Thanks Bronnie! I managed to find some in my local boots and had to buy 2. I do have a couple of different body butters left, but I love this stuff!
I finished some shaving foam, nothing exciting. My clarifying lotion isn't going anywhere. It's taking forever. Why is this always the way?
Congrats to loopylulu! :T:T:T:TSaving all my pennies0 -

So I have a £25 budget to choose something nice for myself and am thinking about using on some nice toiletries! Any ideas? I think I'm going to go for Flake Away, as the posts on here have made it sound really scrummy. I do like S&G stuff so any suggestions from that range would be great, or anything else you've tried that you think would be a nice treat!
Generally I prefer the Sanctuary range and am not keen on the smell of some of the Soap & Glory stuff. However I do absolutely love the Soap & Glory Spa Sugar Crush body scrub - it smells totally divine.
Go and have a sniff next time you are in Boots and see what you think: http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory-Spa-Sugar-Crush-450ml_51545/Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -

Bit personal so no need to answer but if yes that could be a reason why your hair is acting up. Just tie it up for a few days and chances are it will be back to normal in a few days.
No new medication & no health problems that I know of. TOTM was very late this time though (almost a fortnight) and hair has been acting up for well over a week. Maybe a link there.
Whatever it is, I hope it sorts itself out as I always wear my hair down. I will get some clarifying shampoo, see if that helps, might give it a trim too. Just feels like no matter how thoroughly I'm rinsing out the conditioner, it's sticking to my hair so I have to rewash it out :mad:0 -
Hope everyone managed to avoid the mothers days offers for body shop reward customers. They sent me a card and a text but i stayed away.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0

Bargain!! :T
Completely Lost, I was going to suggest the clarifying shampoo too. Also, next time you condition, try mixing the conditioner in a cup with some warm water and work it through, so it's less concentrated, then rinse it out?0 -
Tonight, used up a sanctuary body wash. WIBA? Erm, not sure. Don't know how much it costs. I liked the smell but it was veeeeeeery thick. DH says it smells like pledge. Did feel nice and moisturising but I think I prefer the FCUK ones. Maybe alternate?
I also used up that sachet of John Frieda intensive conditioner. WIBA?: No chance. It was like covering my hair with phlegm and didn't leave it ultra skinny or anything
Congratulations on the promotion loopy!
Also to whoever it was who used up that soap, well done!
