Congrats Loopylulu! That's fantastic!
Have used up a mini Boots Botanics toner, wouldn't buy it again as it says something like makes your skin more sensitive to uv rays, will stick to Simple I think!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -
Afternoon.
My hair is rebelling... for some reason no matter which conditioner I use, my hair is so lank and greasy afterwards. It has never ever been like this... I've tried three different conditioners (including two tried-and-tested favourites) and they are doing the same.
I washed & conditioned my hair this morn... dried it... and it just looked so bad that I had to rewash it without conditioner (2in1 shampoo & conditioner). I've had to do this three times now. I know it's bad not to use a proper conditioner, but I can't deal with the lankness. It looks dirtier than before I washed it :S
Anyway, today I used up -- Small pot of EDM foundation in 'light medium'. It was a sample and not the right colour (too light), but I'm having to make-do until my new one arrives.
- Agent Provocateur Maitresse perfume. WIBA? YES. My favourite perfume.

Srange!
have you tried using a clarifying shampoo?
maybe you have product build up? I dont even use products on my hair much but I still occasionally need to use umberto gianni pure beauty - it does the job but is also nice and gentle

Hiya everyone (and congrats to loopylulu on your promotion
)
I am struggling a bit with the challenge as seem to a bit spotty at the moment. I think its from trying to use up some moisturisers that I don't usually use, instead of my normal freederm one. Luckily I've now found a witchhazel moisturiser lurking in the cupboard so am hoping that'll curb the breakout (fingers crossed!). If not then I'm going to have to break my challenge of not spending more than £10 this month!
Also, I've been told that my DSD wants to buy me a mothers day present. So I have a £25 budget to choose something nice for myself and am thinking about using on some nice toiletries! Any ideas? I think I'm going to go for Flake Away, as the posts on here have made it sound really scrummy. I do like S&G stuff so any suggestions from that range would be great, or anything else you've tried that you think would be a nice treat!0 -
I looked like I'd been down the mine when I got out of the bath, and the less said about the state of the bath the better. WIBA? Not in a million. And hopefully this one will stay consigned to Lush's "not our best success" pile.
.
Lots of Lush products tend to make a huge mess in the bathroom.(insert Kat Slater voice....)
Off topic but when are Kat + Alfie coming back to Eastenders?CompletelyLost wrote: »

Do you have any underlying health problems/take medication for anything? Bit personal so no need to answer but if yes that could be a reason why your hair is acting up. Just tie it up for a few days and chances are it will be back to normal in a few days.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
I used it instead of conditioner as my hair gets greasy quickly. I'm not sure if you still have the box, so I have copied out instructions below for you just in case:
For: All hair types. Finer and normal hair use instead of conditioner. Damaged and naturally dry hair use before conditioner.
How: Fix pump to Elixir bottle, shake and apply the contents evenly to clean damp hair, avoiding the roots. Massage through and leave for 2 to 5 minutes then rinse with warm water. Keep the pump for your next application.
Hope that helps.
That's so nice of you to write the instructions out for me, thank you:)
I'm inspired to try it again now.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

I can understand about using different moisorisers  My skin is very bad atm and I think it might be the Aldi night cream. Bit gutted because it makes my skin feel really nice and soft. I'm now using boots vitamin E stuff because my usual Simple has run out... typical.
Hmmm the S&G stuff... For mothers day I'm getting a tube of Hair Supply (i hope) I love the Arc d' Triumph (sp) brow pencil and the Fab Pore facial peel too. Theres sooo much to choose from!!
loopylulu congratulations :T:T:TEven if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -

How big is your stash?
If it were me I'd choose one high end item.....a mascara I wanted to try, or a beautiful colour eyeshadow, and go with dsd to buy it (if it were me chances are I'd choose from Space NK or similar). is DSD tells them you are her DSM they will think its really sweet, you might et some testers, but ultimately you'll only have one big thing for the stash, and it will be really, really special (and probably last a long time) and be a lovely binding outing for you both.0
