It was more the receptionist being rude that was the issue than the appointment. i asked for an apointment, she then asked if it was urgent. i explained the situation (mc in november then 3 weeks late AF this month no bfp on 5 tests but having symptoms, history of eptopic etc) she then tells me..this dosent mean you can jump the que you still have to wait for an apointment. I didnt ask to jump the que i just asked for an apointment. I don't have an issue with waiting and i fully understand that theres other people that are sick, and i am not classed as sick. but I also expect some degree of customer service when i phone them. its been the same since they refused DD1's wet wrap prescription and the dermatologist told them off.
Complain to the practice manager. There should be an email address on the practice website, or a phone number.

Gas engineer has been - new room thermostat, pump checked and OK. Coming back tomorrow to replace the PCB and/or thermistor... However, I have some heat and hopefully it will be completely fixed tomorrow.

Suppose I should nip into town and get myself a screwdriver so I can fix the DW while I'm on a roll :D

Still trying to get my kettle clean (it seems to have grease on it from when the builders were here). I've used surface cleaner, washing up liquid, green pan scourers and now degreaser. Does anyone have any tips about how to clean welded on grease off an enamel kettle?
