This is quite often not the doctor's or the receptionists fault... it may be due to all the other inconsiderate people being ill ;). However, if it is urgent, they should be able to give you an emergency appointment. Or if it isn't urgent, you can ask for a phone call, as a lot of things can be resolved just by speaking to the doctor (who can then tell you if you really need to go in).

If you don't mind which doctor you see, you may find it easier to get an appointment, as they can fit you in the first available slot.

I haven't seen my GP for about two years... I just talk on the phone, which fits better with work anyway, as she can call me late in the evening when she's finished her paperwork. My surgery only makes appointments a couple of days ahead (unless you have regular appointments to schedule, which doesn't work for me, as I need to plan. You can't please everyone!

It was more the receptionist being rude that was the issue than the appointment. i asked for an apointment, she then asked if it was urgent. i explained the situation (mc in november then 3 weeks late AF this month no bfp on 5 tests but having symptoms, history of eptopic etc) she then tells me..this dosent mean you can jump the que you still have to wait for an apointment. I didnt ask to jump the que i just asked for an apointment. I don't have an issue with waiting and i fully understand that theres other people that are sick, and i am not classed as sick. but I also expect some degree of customer service when i phone them. its been the same since they refused DD1's wet wrap prescription and the dermatologist told them off.

    hhc results.
    showered myself
asked DD1 to start getting ready for her shower wile i get her bandages (she is still sitting there looking at me)
    changed nappies
    emptied bin
received and replied to text (zomg i never get texts..wasnt exiting)
    phoned plusnet re downgrading broadband
filled up sink ready to wash dishes.

still waiting for OH to get out of bed so i can do the bedroom. I think i will go start changing the bed wile he is in it, that usually works and he gets the message lol.

first i am off to the grabbit board to see if theres any sales on wardrobes (we have none so just piles of clothes in the corner.
then to ebay to see what they have
then i assume the kids breakfast will be all over the floor so i will tidy that
    then get to the bedroom

    and i cant be bothered

Done two laundry loads so far and I'm meeting up with friends this afternoon so I'll be forcibly relaxed (after a fashion)

Right, am going to HHC 10.00 til 10.30 (vaguely, three clocks in my house and they all tell different times!)
