I feel a bit thick, but can anyone tell me how to search properly for comps by end date? Because I've tried typing E: 09/08 in the search box, but it just brings up anything with a 0, 9 or 8 in it!
See the comping guide #3 (2 Why can’t I search for comps that are ending on a certain date?)

What do people think of google chrome - that's the browser I useWins so far - Numerous Glamour and Rimmel Goodies, 4 tickets to T4OTB, Tiling Tools and Paintbrush, Dova Spa Facial, 5 Tickets to Lynx Allnighter (Halloween party)
Thanks to all posters on MSE :T0 -
It works better for me when playing BBC iPlayer but for comping I prefer Firefox ,due to all the add-ons & flexinbility with tabs etc. Each to their own but there is nothing to stop you having a few others installed so you have alternatives to try. What do people think of google chrome - that's the browser I use0 -
thanks iamilucky I decided to download firefox to give it a try. I have still kept internet explorer just incase i do not like it.
I liked a few of the add ins you mentioned earlier that would defo make comping a bit easier. Is there an easier way to see/organise your favourites/bookkmarks apart from clicking bookmarks at the top of the page then from internet explorer?0 -

the bookmarks thing is what has stopped me going over to FF0 -
I'd say just keep the bookmarks on IE if that is what you like.Just use FF for comping etc & IE for your general internet use if that suits you better.0

Click on Bookmarks-Organize Bookmarks where you can search your bookmarks and drag and drop them in to different folders and Import and Export
in organize bookmarks you can also select a folder say daily comps and by using control a you can select all of the links and open them all in new Firefox tabs
