Hmm reading the above posts I must admit, I did my first 50+ just clicking but after that I installed a firefox addon that told the website I was coming from google or coming directly. You can get it on the 'addons' section by typing referrer.

Anybody know if there is an add on I can use in IE. If so can somebody talk me through slowly please :D

I don't think there are any add ons that block the referrer in IE, and there is no registry setting in IE to turn the referral links off ,

There are 3rd party security software which block referrers like Norton Internet Security - Zone Alarm Pro and Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro however they are quite expensive and unless you already have them may not be viable

the enormous amount of available plug-ins and add-ons and the easy ability to customise the browser + it being a more secure browser was why I switched from IE many years ago and have never looked back

if you want my advise bite the bullet and switch to Firefox ;)
  • thank you hopefully ive done it

    Download and install Firefox

    then install Roboform Add-on
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/153351/?src=api

then in Roboform options click on Login Browser and change Internet Explorer to Firefox

    Best of Luck :)

don't know what I am doing wrong. Roborm doesn't want to down load in FF is that because I am still using the free one in IE?

didn't realise that there was a separate version for each browser

Close Roboform for IE down then

    Download Roboform for Firefox here
    http://www.roboform.com/platforms/browsers/firefox and try to install

if it still won't install you may need to uninstall the IE version first ;)

    Best of Luck :)
