  • Am posting this in both compers inn & discussions, does anyone have the newest issue of Doctor Who Adventures - 175? If so could you please post the competitions from it & also subsequent issues until further notice please? I know my DD has got 175 but I can't find it anywhere & with us moving in less than 2 weeks it would be easier if someone could take it over for a short while please?

Also if anyone has issue 174 could they scan the T-shirt comp in from page 9 please, entries have to be on 21st so really sorry for short notice.

  • Can anyone help I got a phone call from Daily Mail over 2 weeks ago saying I had won a comp for 4 saracen bikes. I was so shocked at the time I didnt ask for any details and the girl just said someone from the supplier would contact me. I still have not heard anything. This is first time I have won anything and dont know how long these things take although I would have expected to have heard by now. Doe anyone know how to contact them about this coz I havent a clue.

    Thanks

I tend to stick to MSE as if I enter via any other site there is a duplication risk.I saw the site you mentioned posted on here re a Royal Mint comp & after looking at it much prefer MSE.I think most comps in the UK get on here in the end.

Has anyone heard of Prize 500?

They just phoned me and said I had entered the "next level" after filling out a survey to win a Fiat something which is most likely true, I've been doing tons of surveys and competitions recently. She offered me a "deal" to enter me into hundreds of competitions for £29.99 a month which I instantly said I couldn't afford. Then she said they don't start taking out any money until the END* of September and in the meantime will give me £60 credit to use on their penny auction site https://www.bidyes.com. She said I could cancel the direct debit at any time, not be charged and keep the credit. This doesn't sound right but it's what she said so I went for it for the auction credit.

*One lie/mistake so far though is she definitely said the end of september yet the email that has just come through states the 1st. This is NOT a good time for any money to come out of my account as I'm moving around then. I'm not sure I was going to let it carry on and bill me at the end either. I think the details and credit for the auction site are coming with the letter she's sending in a few days time.

    What do you all think?

Just thought would drop in, not going to be spending as much time on here now, things to do, places to go etc:D Will still be lurking about here and there but not going to be posting comps other than the Real People magazine one I do each week as well as the online puzzler ones:D Thought would give you a heads up then someone else can check the sites and post them so others dont miss out:D The ones I have checked on a regular basis are: Empire, For Parents By Parents, Totz2teens, The Baby Website, Baby Expert, Card Making and Papercraft, GMTV

    Good luck all:D

Hi, I would love to do one of them, maybe the empire one, if someone could point me in the right direction? Thanks xx

Sounds like a scam to me I would cancel the Direct Debit immediately and tell your bank too just in case they try to take it.

I wouldn't touch any of these sites with a bargepole.
If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.

I usually check out uk.rec.comps and usually post the ITV competitions there.

Very few posters there these days.
