O2 Simplicity Sim (only) £10/month 300 mins/unlimited texts + more (potential) Quidco

my quidco has tracked but only at £250

I was on a 30 day rolling SIM only contract, costing £10 pm, giving me 75 free minutes and 250 free texts. Went online via Quidco last night and upgraded to the Simplicity 12 month contract. It went through and is already showing on my O2 account.
So now I pay £10 pm but get 300 minutes, unlimited texts, free landline calls and still keep my old number! So even if Quidco doesn't track, I'm still better off.
Many thanks OP!
Sean
let me know if your quidco tracks - I've 'downgraded' from £15 30day sim only to this £10 deal and I'm getting more for less money!0 -

Thank you Quidsinquentin. Don't beat yourself up about your post it is a really good find for the ones it works for and even if quidco doesn't track its a better deal for most. I only topped up online on Friday for my daughter and wondered why the site was so slow and didn't have time to browse the site anyway so would never have seen the offer. I spend on average £15 every couple of months for her phone but she gets so little for this it was a brilliant find. I managed to complete the order on line and got an order number yesterday though I've not had my email confirmation and can't seem to log on to their site today to check my order. They've not taken the 1p from my account yet to test the direct debit but I'm hopeful. If it works on the £10 tariff it's a great deal that will save me money. And if Quidco tracks then all the better. So thank you again for highlighting this for us!
P.S. Just managed to log onto O2 and my order is there and says in progress so must be going through just waiting for Qudico and should be sorted! Cray-beau I want to do the same with our new sim and hopefully we'll be tracked in a couple of days ???:j Addicted to money saving0 -
I want to port my current PAYG o2 number to the new SIM but the cashback has yet to be tracked. Do you think this will be ok or will I have to wait until it tracks? Don't really fancy carrying 2 phones about for too long!0

Anybody else got problems viewing the link in Firefox?
BTW the HDUK thread claims that O2 will pay out the £100 Quidco caskback when validated, it's supposed to track at £25.0 -
Reply received from quidco following tracking at £25.
Hi Christopher,
I can confirm the O2 offer of £100 cashback for any 12 month contract SIM Only deal. This offer is valid until midnight on 28 February 2010.
If this purchase tracks in at a lower rate, please do not be concerned about this as it should update once it has become validated.0 -

I'm on a 30day simplicity at the moment (£15 a month) and this £10 12 month simplicity gives me more so wanted to 'upgrade'.
I rang o2 customer services and they said that you can do it online or over the 'phone. When you do it online make sure you do it through the upgrade way as some customers don't do this and then end up being charged twice (old contract and new one).
I want this deal anyway and so have gone through quidco - if it tracks then bonus, if not then I've still got a good deal.
Just 'upgraded' 2 of the families mobiles already on simplicity via quidico saving £15 a month on our bills :j If Quidico comes up trumps
I'm on a standard contract and for whatever reason can't upgrade online, so just waiting for O2 to answer the phone. The music they play is bloody awful though0
