You might try going thru the thread on here:

There appears to be a lot of Q&A's going on. Upgrades may be one of them.

I'm actually quite sorry I posted this now as it seems many people have gone for it because of the advertised Quidco. There are questions pending over whether that is what it seems, but the basic deal without Q is still actually very good.

It appears that Quidco will pay out either £50 or a £100. If it's £50 then the deal becomes effectively £5 a month which is very good - amongst the best around.

But at the moment I'd suggest taking it out on the basis of the basic contract with O2 - any Quidco is then a nice bonus.
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

I took out the 800 mins 1600 texts via quidco on their site - works out at just over £11 a month which is great for my son! It does take a couple of days to track into the account and will track in at £25, on validation it ups it to the right amount (I checked with Quidcare already) so dont all lose heart just yet!

You need to register with quidco. Quidco charge a £5 yearly administration fee, but this is easy to cover, even if only by signing up to a few newsletters. I have managed to make £519 in a year, for things that I was purchasing anyway.

Could you tell me what newsletters to sign up for to earn some money?

    Thanks

I'm already on O2 simplicity, does anyone know if I can do the offer via Quidico.

Can't find out much from O2

I'm on a 30day simplicity at the moment (£15 a month) and this £10 12 month simplicity gives me more so wanted to 'upgrade'.

I rang o2 customer services and they said that you can do it online or over the 'phone. When you do it online make sure you do it through the upgrade way as some customers don't do this and then end up being charged twice (old contract and new one).

I want this deal anyway and so have gone through quidco - if it tracks then bonus, if not then I've still got a good deal.

Whoops! I am one of the customers who didn't do it through the upgrade way. I just thought I would cancel the 30 day Simplicity when I receive the new sim. I will ring CS tomorrow.

O2 sent me email saying my simplicity are been part dispatched as some the order is oos, perhaps they sent half a sim card? still no track Quidco.....
    SIMPLES!
  • I was on a 30 day rolling SIM only contract, costing £10 pm, giving me 75 free minutes and 250 free texts. Went online via Quidco last night and upgraded to the Simplicity 12 month contract. It went through and is already showing on my O2 account.

So now I pay £10 pm but get 300 minutes, unlimited texts, free landline calls and still keep my old number! So even if Quidco doesn't track, I'm still better off.

    Many thanks OP!
