  • Lets see if we can get 25 pages of unanswerable questions, maybe's and mightdo's, just like on the hotdeals site. LOL

Looks like you get nothing, £50 or £100. No one actually knows, and no-one will know until a few weeks after the deal ends!

Lets see if we can get a more sarcastic answer to a newbies innocent question.

you will get the £100 C/B deal if you take out the "Simplicity for smartphones" £20 deal? This is actually a £15 tarrif with a £5 bolt-on. Will this track as a £15 or £20 tarrif?

You might be better contacting O2 to find out - as one poster mentions the whole thing has become a confused mess with thousands of people - I gather - apparently unsure of anything anymore.

In fact you might be better off staying away from it. I know I've posted it but even I'm now considering cancelling my O2 contract as the Quidco offer is completely unclear now, and the other networks are apparenty jumping on the bandwagon with deals of their own and retention deals if a customer phones up and says 'I'm off to O2!'

It was perfectly straightforward this morning - and it's become a big mess now.

Still not a bad deal with the bare contract, but the Quidco made it an unmissable offer which is why so many went for it - I'm hearing of 10's of thousands. I'm also hearing that the other networks are rushing to put deals together (my best friends sister works for one of the big providers) to minimise their customer losses.

Looks like war is breaking out.
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

Thanks for this post. My friend was looking for a new contract with O2 so this is great. I am a great fan of Quidco I have had £1497.00 from them in the last 5 years. Thanks again

Does anyone know if this quidco will work with an o2 simplicity upgrade?

I can do it all online - so worth trying I guess??

But wondered if anyone had tried!

Hi all - saw this deal over on HUKD's.

This is a stonking offer IMO.

There are a number of O2 contracts - 12 month ones for a change. But with up to £100 cashback on Quidco. So, the £10/month deal for a 12 month contract effectively becomes £1.70/month for 300 minutes/unlimited texts AND a free bolt-on of unlimited O2 - landline calls or O2 - O2 calls.

Plus keep your old O2 number and get a M&S £5 voucher for doing it online.

Quidco offer is for two more days so move if you want it.

    Enjoy.

Sounds like a good deal, 300 mins + unlimited o2 calls.

Don't understand the whole Quidco thing - I know its some sort of cash back site.

How do you make the Quidco part happen?

You need to register with quidco, then all you do is to access the offer through them(do this by typing o2 into the search bar). Prior to doing so you need to clear your cookies so that the tracking cookie that they put in indicates that you came to them via quidco. After 2 - 3 months you should be credited with the money from them. Quidco charge a £5 yearly administration fee, but this is easy to cover, even if only by signing up to a few newsletters. I have managed to make £519 in a year, for things that I was purchasing anyway.
Only thing to bear in mind is that sometimes there is a difficulty in quidco receiving the money from the offers, and thus paying it to you, so best not to count their discount in the bargain, and just consider it an extra.IN saying that I have not encountered any problems thus far. There is a log thread specifically devoted to quidco on here.
