But they are most definately not the same product. De Walt are high quality tools, which will last. Black and decker brand is much lower in the market, their tools fall apart.
Whilst on the DIY subject, B&Q own brand tile spacers are made by Plasplugs, but are significantly cheaper.
A lot of Dewalt stuff used to be 'high quality ELU' product then.. Dewalt (aka black and decker upmarket name took them over and... not so much now Borat springs to mind... People in my country would go for these two but not so much this one
Personal opinion in general on dewalt0 -
There are too many posts here to read so forgive me if this has been mentioned before. I have been told that the Ford Galaxy, Seat Alahambra and I think its the VW Sharon are all the same car just with different names.
Quite interesting I thought.0 -

Well, I think they have the same basic shell/shape, but the Ford has a ford engine.... and although Seat have the same basic parts as VW, I believe they are not the same....:D:starmod: I am not that savage :heartpuls But I am a Vixen :staradmin0 -

The new Galaxy shares nothing with earlier versions, and is based on the (apparently excellent) new Mondeo platoform, shared with the S-Max. In fact the S-Max and Galaxy are almost identical except for height...Jumbo

OH works for a car manufacturer and although car companies to sell and buy panel moulds they dont share any internal parts or engines
So there may be same shaped cars about but thats where the similarity endsWife to a great husband and mum to 4 fantastic kids 9,8,4,3 they drive me mad but I would do anything and give everything for my family :grinheart

And what are "panel moulds"? Car bodies are made using dies in vast, incredibly expensive machines. Each die is bespoke for the car being made.Jumbo

They have not used that slogan for a few years now have they?
A Skoda is now more VW than anything else.
Lots of car companies share costs when developing new models, hence the Citroen Saxo and Peugeot 106 are very similar, as are the 107 and the C1.0
