I used to work for Gallahers, who make Benson and Hedges. Or at least they make the B&H that are sold in the UK. At the time I worked there (and probably still), the B&H cigarettes that were sold internationally or at 'duty free' shops were not made by Gallaher, but by a 'rival' under license, so will definitely not be the same as you are used to at home. Opinion was that the 'foreign' ones were not as good.0

while on holiday in pakistan i bought back some B AND H they cost about 1100 hundred rupees which is about £9 quid gave them to my mate who smokes them like their going out of fashion and he said they were the same taste and smell JUST SHOWS YOU HOW MUCH WE ARE RIPPED OFF BUY TAX IN THIS COUNTRY
Not a rip-off at all. You have a straight choice whether to smoke or not - no compulsion. And if the tax wasn't raised on cigarettes it would only have to go on something else, such as fuel.
The NHS costs money to run, as do education, social welfare and all the other services we expect to be provided. It all has to be paid for - that's what taxes are for.0 -

Agree, we have the NHS system here which helps many people with smoking related illnesses (among others) in India and elsewhere they do not have the same service so do not have the same taxes.
And just to make it more important: friend of mine who smokes like a chimney, lit up the other day at home and I cannot tell you what was in that cigarette but it wasn't good! He couldn't even tell! It turned out only when he had three of us picking up on it that there was something wrong and we wanted him to take the pack back to the shop. He then let on he'd bought it in another Country....We don't just have higher prices for NHS bills, we also have them to ensure what we eat, drink and even smoke is not highly illegal.0 -

Agreed, we all have a choice. Those who drink/smoke/do drugs etc choose to do so because they want to, well the majority choose to but some do it as a friend/brother etc does it.0 -

Apparently true. At least to the extent that Kogan use Samsung LCDs in their TVs.

Dremel is also another Bosch brand.
Also, there are only 4 manufacturers of flat-panel screens in the world so the chances are the cheapest TV on display will have the same screen as the most expensive one. The picture quality difference will be down to different driver boards being used.Never Knowingly Understood.
