Tesco Perthshire Mountain Spring Water is from the same spring and processed in the same factory as Highland Spring. 6 x 1.5l (9l) Highland Spring = £2.88 (32p per litre). 6 x 2l (12l) Tesco = £1.88 (15.7p per litre).

hiya, Unfortunatly i am not allowed to divulge the actual ingredient they put in the drink, we have to sign up to like a secrecy thing, but it's not suger i tell you that much, and it is only in a very small quantity, 50ml per 4000 litres

OOOh, like the 'official secrets act' and they hold you to this for all time?

ferrari's dont rust:rolleyes: and if a panda went as fast as one it would end up being a convertable at least or the driver would be like on them cartoons where its just them and the steering wheel left going along the road with the rest of the car being blown away:rotfl:

  • Some years ago a beauty therapist told me Marks and Spencer's skin products were made by Clarins. Does anyone know if this is true?

this is discussed in the thread... if you backtrack you'll find several posts referring to M&S cosmetics line.

Going back 8 years ago so may not be relevant now - but I worked for 2 days (it was that bad!) in a chicken factory who supplied Aldi, Somerfield and Iceland with the same chicken. Also spent a week temping in a Bread Factory supplying Sunblest, Somerfield and Asda.

Many of the fresher products like Bread are made in local factories, and shipped directly to the supermarkets.
  • The same factory in Bulgaria make trousers for M&S/ASDA/Debenhams, only difference is the hangers...
  • I bought spome sprouting broccoli at Asda last weekend and it was identical to that from M&S. Same country, same box etc. Can't rememebr exact prices but do remember that there was a £0.21 difference. I know this cos I worked out the % saving and, if all prices were around this saving, I'd have spent approx. £320 less on my food bill per annum.
