I have a Poundland in my town and i see lods of Rimmel London Products like lipsticks and eyeshadows ect :j
They are absolutely amazing but you have to look out for them carefully in the make up section, they are in special little plastic bluey/liclac see through cases but you can actually see that is says Rimmel but its quite small.
Ive have saw these, similar Rimmel products, for around £5 at boots and super drug:money::j

Can this be correct? I specifically buy Mcvities biccys because they are free from hydrogenated fats, (trans-fats), whereas Tesco's own are not. Has anyone checked recently?

I haven't checked the ingredients, but I bought Tesco's own chocolate digestives last week after using up my store of Mcvities ones which I bought weeks ago when they were on offer, and they were very different - the Tesco ones didn't taste anywhere near as nice, and the texture was different - they felt/tasted cheaper IMO

Poundland also sell Revlon, Maybelline, Sally Hansen, Almay and lots of other branded make-up. And you don't have to look carefully in our make-up section (redcar branch) They are promin ently displayed hanging in the health and beauty section. We always have them but what we have varies at any one time.

Aluminium tape to use with roof insulation. B&Q is £4.99 a roll, Poundland, obviously £1. A considerable saving when we needed 10 rolls to seal the insulation in my sons roof!:j

My poundland has various cards at 3 for a £1 and 4 for a £1.Great value in these money pinching times. :T
  • Just to let you know that Home Bargain are selling M&S Fathers day cards for £0.39 (original price still on them from £1 to £2.50) The brand name has a sticker covering it, but peel it off and its M&S.

    Hope that helps.

Home bargains are selling m&s hand-crafted fathers day cards for 39p (they still have the m&s price sticker on of £2.50). Also, lots of lovely gift bags and wrapping paper (Matalan, Asda, Hallmark, some M&S) - 12p for small bags, 49p/59p for larger bags (originally priced at £2). Nice little bargains!
  • In my local poundland (weston super mare) they have a Piz Buin suntan lotion spf20 wristband which sells at £5.99 and also a L'Oreal Sun Gloss lipstick
  • I work for Poundland and every time something that is from somewhere else and has a different label on it (Boots moisturiser, Next tights) is mentioned on here, we then have to stop selling it, which is a bit pants!!
