Not true...
"Are CHANEL products tested on animals ?
CHANEL shares the legitimate concern of its customers in terms of nature protection. The Brand does not test on animals. "

Bourjois...
"Are your products tested on animals?
No, our products are not tested on animals."

Also whilst reading up on animal testing (as I refused to believe that my entire makeup bag was cruel) I came across this article...
JOHNSON'S BABY SOFTWASH

 I'm sure you will be as horrified as i am!!!
That's great info but remember sometimes the ingredients used are tested on animals but the companies don't test the finished product on animals. So there's still animal testing going on, they're just being a little economical with the truth. No idea if that's true for the ones you've listed though.0 -
I had a mate who worked for Sunblest in Liverpool I they made Asda and Morrison's own brand bread. Exactly the same except for the packaging. A lot of the breads are like this.0

I had a sample of Dior day cream, lovely - a strange blue colour. I was never going to buy it though, as it's over £50 a jar!!! however, my daughter buys M&S face cream, £2.50. We were surprised when we noticed it was the same unusual blue colour. Then we both tried each others, then we smelt them - I swear they are the same cream! £2.50, or £50 - now let me see?0

Worth noting that the 'normal' and halogen lightbulbs from IKEA are Osram brand, and the Energy savers are Phillips or Megaman.0

 I used to work in a fish factory and the fish used for asda, tesco, co-op etc was no different from one another.
The only difference was the supermarkets required us to cut the fish in a slighlty different way.
For example any pieces of salmon that did not meet the required weight for asda's own brand went into smart price packaging, it was the same with most of our products, if it did not meet certain weights then it would just get down graded into a cheaper brand.
Hope this helped.:rotfl:0 -
