As you can see from my signature - I'm in!

£120 for me, OH and 2 cats. OH is going on tour for 7/10 days from this weekend so he is getting £20 cash from this budget on Saturday and I'll just be feeding myself next week.

elantan - are you sure that wasn't cheating going to the cash 'n' carry today - day before spending challenge started!:rotfl: - only joking!

i'd love to join (if thats ok?)

i put in my own diary thread that our budget would be £150 for the month (OH, 1.5 cats and I) but I know I can do better so will make it £120.

we literally have the ends of stuff left, but tonight we're eating well from tins again! pasta bake with sweetcorn and tuna...yum yum yum! and it cost £0!! yee haa!

good luck everyone, roll on midnight when we're paid!

I want to be in challenge - and I agree with all the old hands should be on this board! isn't an OS thing in my mind as is part of DFW - saving money on shopping is a big part of cutting down on general debt and spending.

Anyway, didn't do so well last time... more the wine than anything else although def cutting down!

I'm going for £200 for me and the boyf - know it sounds alot but have to start somewhere...

Thanks for all the inspiration everyone - shall try harder this month!

hey scottish i'm gonna take it off my balance lol;) ..currntly i'm at £76.25 eeekkkk:eek: :eek: but with that i bought loads of mince/chicken /toilet rolls/washing powder/oh and some steaks lol:D so that leaves me very little for the rest ofthe month ..will double check my figures though:o

Will have to figure out a budget though, usually spend about £50-55 per week, so maybe initially cut that down to £45 (thats for 2 adults 2 kids) I know I could cut back, but I will do it slowly, need to dig out my recipes books and be canny with my store cupboards that have all sorts of !!!!!! in them!!!
