Hi all. Am off for the weekend. Work has been hectic for the past few days. The jubilee line had major problems on tuesday, then staffing shortages and stupid staff on wednesday. Thursday was quieter but dived into crap loads of paperwork.
Had a counseling session today. My counsellor said he could understand my anger at the company, but I needed to let it go!
This weekend will be filled with football, fun and laughter. Today I will be in the garden0 -
Football, fun, laughter and gardening.:) Yay. Ignore work focus on happy things. I am too.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Seeds watered and fed. Bedding areas tended. Kids taken to and returned from swimming lessons. Going to have a long soak in the bath later, a cold, cold magners and an early night.
I am taking the kids to saturday morning pictures again tomorrow and then off to Wembley on sunday for the football.
I have to confess that I have let the financial situation slip somewhat and I will need to address this, this month, but not this weekend.
Enjoy your weekend people. I will certainly try0 -
good morning all. An early start is called for today, as we are on our way to Wembley for the football.
Yesterday was hectic too. Was up early too and took the kids to Saturday morning pictures, and watched Megamind. This has become a bit of a ritual now when I am not working. Is a cheap mornings entertainment. Then home and blitzed the house with the wife. All the ashing, ironing, cleaning and various jobs that are done between the two days were completed so we were clear for today. The house is spotless, and my wife seemed genuinely shocked that I was able to get he amount of work done that I did.
Feel good about today. My team are on a roll, 3 wins in three, playing a team that has lost two of the last three (one against us!) but, history is against us. The last time my team won a final was in 1942! Whatever happens though, I will have fun with my family.
Happy mothers day to all. especially FW and SW. The women in my life who have been been like mothers to me recently. My extended family xx0 -

How goes it, MrD? I hope all is OK with you."Green pastures are before me,

I'd love to be a good example - instead, I am a horrible warning.0 -
Good evening all. I hope that you are all well, and things are right in your world.
I am sorry I have not been on to update you all on the situation, but my laptop decided to "bluescreen" on me and has been in the repair bay since my last post. Even now its sitting there forlornly eager to be fixed. As it is I am writing this in an internet cafe so as my friends know I am ok. I could have used the works PC to upload an entry but I am keeping clear of that little pile of trouble.
And yes I am ok despite my team losing (as I predicted). Any way, here is the latest. I am still attending counselling for my trauma and anger issues. I am seeing my hypnotherapist once every 2 months for a confidence boosting session. My garden looks like a farm, and the I am still employed.
This week I was asked to attend an "informal" meeting with a manager to discuss what happened and how they wanted to progress this. Much was said, though I do confess to biting my tongue over somethings as they seemed to be dragging the agony out. Then they decided to set an offical date for a formal meeting the next day. This was to be attended by myself and my union rep. To cut a very long story short it was decided that I should recieve a 52 final warning, so I am basically on probabtion for the next year. I am obviously relieved and plan a celebratory dinner and drinks with the wife soon, but I cant help feeling that they seem to think that they have me in their pocket to use as they want. Methinks they are in for a shock. I have asked for retraining and refesher courses galore to "rebuild" my confidence. I have already read and re-read the rulebooks 5 times and I am amazed at how much management are attempting to get away with. Of course, I will be keeping my head below the parapet, but the amunition is there to be used - who's to say I have to fire the gun!
With the laptop down my ebay has dried up and I have had several bills and expenses come in. The car needed £250 spent on it, and my father in law needed £2000 which we won't see this side of hell freezing over (I won't go into details but family is family). I cannot express my gratitude for all the people out there, I am trying to get myself back on the straight and narrow financially and really kick on this year.
More later when I get the laptop back.0 -
