actually, you have a deal. So long as you have a DVD player and I can bring my Battlestar galactica collection, so I can watch and iron at the same time!

I remember old Battlestar Galactica with Dirk Benedict and was it Richard Hatch? A misspent youth, maybe if i had worked harder on my physics O level i would be rich by now.

And if I had avoided the bookies so would I, but remember the song says "...Whatever you do, don't congratulate yourself too much, or berate yourself either. Your choices are half chance. So are everybody else's".

    Hi

I generally lurk and catch up on your goings on, and just popping by to say that you are sounding so much more positive lately; enjoying yourself in the garden with your children. That's always good.

I think the counselling has helped, but what has helped most is knowing that not only that I can't do it on my own, but I don't need to try to do it on my own, but I have friends to support me when it gets too rough.

Yep, you do! And you have family as well; which of course you always know as well. William, you are sounding much better - you are past obsessing about money; you have been through a crisis at work...now yopu can approach life calmly and start building again.

    Taka care.

thanks for your kind and wise words. Im not past obsessing about money. Its just at the moment I am focusing in my family and making sure that they are in a good enough place. I will "concentrate" on the finances after this weekend.

Another night in the tent beckons as the kids are adamant that tonight (even if it rains) they will sleep out. Tonight we will set Bear, Tiger and the elusive Pink Elephant traps in the garden as my son is sure thats who is responsible for his scooter wheel falling off!

Toy story on the TV so had better run.

When my nieces stay we tell stories about all the animals in the garden too. They love it. Are you planning a midnight feast?

No, the midnight feast is off, but might toast a few marshmellows again! The pink elephant thing is a running gag we have had for ages. We always used to give them a list of things to look out for of the car/train window. We'd always throw in the pink elephant for good measure and to tell us when they see it. It was a running joke. When my sons scooters wheel fell off we convinced him that the pink elephant must've been riding it during the noght and broke it. Hence the pink elephant trap!
