I loved your Latin. That is pretty much what i said to my class this morning. I am not usually political in (economics) class but i am so worried that the Conservative solution to the economic problem is going to be to cut government spending in priority areas. The only other solution is to put taxes up. There is no way they will put taxes up!!!
I hope i am wrong and everything will be ok.
Well done on telling the holiday company. It will be good publicity for them. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
Happy swimming. I dont need to swim. Nearly drowned in rain on the way home. Balls, and i straightened my hair this morning - what a waste. Now i look like a mop!!!!Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
OH calls the coalition CON-DOM but I prefer CON-DEM. But I also think that any Government would have had to make some really hard choices. The problem with CON-DEM is that given a choice between greedy corporate capitalism (as in banks, private companies etc.) and the future (as in education, science and health) they will inevitably choose the former.
Oh well, lets hope they don't last long and bring each other down with internal discord.

TBH, I think quite a lot of people might find it funny, but the company line is that we are an "Apolitical" company, supporting no one party over the other. So, this could cause offence and appear that the company is biased towards one political party over another. Such is life...0

Am on my break, so no, wont get into trouble...hopefully. It wasn't me that wrote the message and I wont say whether I found it humorous or not (maintaining the company line). The majority of my posts on here are done at home.
Thanks for the concern though0 -
Morning all. Rough few days. A few rows with the wife over trivial matters that always seem to escalate. Finally got home on 2am on thursday morning, after the distruptions. Fell asleep on the sofa, and was woken up at 5:30 by the kids. Spent my day off delivering the avon orders for the wife, then hospital appointment at 4pm. Routine check up after op at christmas. Got home at 6, put the kids to bed and fell into bed at 7:30 after a bath. Suprisingly for me, slept right through until alarm sounded at 4.45!
No swimming yesterday, was too bloody knackered. Fought all day to not doze on the train running back and forth.
My friend loves the watch and has ordered another!
Breakfast is a warmed up croissant and coffee (very continental) followed by a Vit C tablet.
Swimming after work (early turn duty today so will be riding off in a few minutes).
Two more days then off work for two weeks!
Today I will not gamble.
Today I will smile at my customers
Today I will be nice to my staff
Today I will not wind up my managers. *
*At least one of the these statements is correct!
Have a good day people0
