The way the unskilled younger Brits coped, or failed to cope, made me very sad.
Having suspected that we demand too little self-discipline and effort from the least able, it was an uncomfortable experience seeing where everyone's best efforts, and hand-outs, had taken these particular kids.0 -

Why is it that any criticism of what is purely job related is been taking so personally?!!

True that. I'd consider myself to be intelligent enough to (just about) get by when I graduate, but I can still take criticism and correction in my mundane part time job.I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0
