LOL thanks Mrs Moore To Be! I don't think it's creepy, when you 'chat' to people online you can't help but think about them!

Truth be told I'm actually a little bored today, I've got nothing to do and I don't want to get involved in anything that I'll just have to hand over anyway!

My Mum's picking up my wedding dress this afternoon and I feel a bit like an expectant Dad waiting for the call that my precious bundle has arrived safely! :rotfl:

Hehehe, I feel like driving over to my Mum's after work to get it off her just so I've got it in my presence! But I won't because I really don't have time tonight as it's nearly an hour's round trip, got too much to do! I really hope my boss lets me leave early.

Work just did a little presentation for me and OH, we got a chocolate cake (with my name spelt incorrectly as always! It's got a Y in, not an I!), a nice silver photoframe and wedding certificate holder set and a £20 Argos giftcard. We've got a massive card signed by everyone too and I've got a considerably smaller 'New Job' card but still signed by everyone. Lovely Luckily they didn't go on too long so I didn't get weepy.

Aww, how sweet Birdie - I can't believe you're going away tomorrow! How exciting! :j I've been thinking about you too. What date is the actual renewal of your vows, so I can be thinking of you on the day? How lovely that you'll be there for Valentine's day too.

We went into town to pay off our honeymoon today, so that's the last big thing to pay before our wedding. I'm going over to a friend's house on Tuesday evening to discuss my hen-do - she had suggested Saturday 9th April for it in her text earlier - I told her we'd be married by then as we leave on the 5th! She'd got confused because the reception date isn't until the end of April. :rotfl:

Moon also went into House of Fraser today with me (we met when we both worked there) and he bought some men's moisturiser from Clarins as he'd run out (I keep nagging him to put some on, as he's not very good at remembering to, so it got used up). The lady on there is so lovely, as she knows us both, and is really excited for us. She gave Moon lots of sample sized products to take on holiday (he got a free travel bag full of products too with any purchase), and then she obviously noticed my skin was somewhat spotty at the moment , went out the back, and brought me back a 100ml cleansing and toning liquid, and a moisturiser. :T

We get 'married' on the 18th, so a week today! :j

Just finishing up packing now, doing that annoying thing of walking around the flat picking up random things and just throwing them into the suitcase now because I'm not sure if I'll need them or not! :rotfl:

I'm so excited I may burst. I practically skipped out of work. Felt a bit bad once I got home because I didn't act at all sad that it was my last day after working there for 6 years... but I've got too much to look forward to to be sad! I'm sure it'll hit when I'm back and starting a new job with new people. But I don't want to panic about my new job for 2 weeks!

Hola! We got home yesterday morning (awful night flight = zero sleep) but I was far too zonked to write all about it!

In a nutshell, it was fantastic!

The day was fabulous, it rained a little in the morning (as it did every day for about a week, ironically the rainy days started the day that OH's middle brother arrived and stopped the day he went home!) but it was glorious by 4pm. Had a bit of a hair disaster as OH's Auntie decided that she'd do my hair but we didn't have any decent straighteners between us that would do a decent curl so it ended up a bit of a mess and it got a bit 'poofy' on top which my Mum had to quickly 'un-!!!!!!' when OH's Auntie went off to get ready as I was getting a bit tearful and stressed.

I was feeling pretty non-plussed about the whole thing until I walked down the 'aisle' and saw OH when I got all wobbly and cried because it hit home that even though we were already married, we were really getting 'married' if that makes sense? The vows were in Spanish and translated to English, they were so lovely we asked for a copy. Of course I had to say 'Si!' when I was asked if I'd take OH to be my husband!

Oooh and the out-of-town-bags went down a storm. The Tiger Balm was by far the best item, everyone got bitten by something and the stuff did wonders for getting rid of the itching! OH's oldest brother even used his bag to carry his stuff down to the pool every day, he looked a right sight wandering round with his bright blue gift bag with his name on!
