Birdie, those invites are really really brilliant - well done! I love them, love the little stamps, everything! You could open an Etsy shop afterwards doing personalised invitations for people getting married abroad!

I was in BHS earlier and saw some bright butterfly shaped dishes and thought of you, not sure they'd fit your theme? Can't find them on the website but they're in the garden/BBQ section.

Speaking of vaccinations - I got a letter from my doctor telling me to make an appointment for my Hep A booster - hope I don't have to pay for it!!!

Thanks Tete, I was thinking about selling my invites but it is such hard work I'm not sure if it's worth it! And a lot of it is personal so I'd probably be pestering the life out of customers for info and ideas and I'm not sure how well that'd go down!

Thanks for the BHS tip! I'll have to get there to have a look at some point. They've got nice stuff in Sainsbury's at the minute too, I keep dragging OH over to have a look but he doesn't see what I see yet for our reception so he doesn't really get why I'm looking!

tete you shouldnt have to pay for the booster, it comes under the price you paid for the original vaccine, mine did anyway and im in englands NHS

Haha, your poor OH won't know what's hit him will he? I know what you mean about it all being time consuming, I find things like that time consuming even when I'm only doing them for myself!

The poor blighter hasn't got a clue what he's in for! Mwahahaha!

I suppose the invites wouldn't be that time consuming to replicate now that I have everything set up but it's just thinking about how personal they are to me and how hard my poor brain will have to work coming up with ideas for different people with different destinations! Even choosing the font style and colours took a whole afternoon (at work!).

How long do vaccinations last? I've changed my doctors recently, will my new one send me a reminder when I'm due?

Well I thought it was 10 years but the only ones I've ever had were when we went to Turkey when I was 13, so maybe 15 years? It's good that they send a reminder though, and mind blowing to think what their records databases must be like!
