£500 on shoes from Office?! I didn't know they did fancy ones. Do you have a link? Could you wear them for something other than a wedding? Sounds like a good bargain tbh!

I think Tete means that the shoes she likes are cheaper than 'our' shoes!

It's a tough one Tete, you may be tempting fate by getting them but what if you need them 'later' and you can't find any that match your dream idea? I'd buy them to put away, your foot size will never change so it's not like you've got to worry about them not fitting when you do need to wear them!

They are seriously cute, its an unusual shade of blue too. I originally planned to have coloured shoes to match the theme, but now we're having a matt gold/mink colour it's barely different from my dress! Plus I saw one wedding where the bride did that in my photographers profile and they seriously fixated on the shoes in the photographs to the expense of everything else - i didn't want to give them the oppertunity to do that again!

Good reasoning... but if I had the lovely tell-tale red sole on my feet I'd want a lot of pictures of them! Hehe, I can just see you kicking your photographer in the face as he's leaning in to get a(nother) close-up of your shoes and saying, 'Hey! The dress cost more, get a photo of that!' :rotfl:
