Feet are creepy but shoes are pretty! I get the point though, I think some photographers focus so much on the little details like the buttons on a dress or the shoes that they forget to take many people pictures!
I'm going to have to get my feet sorted out for London, can't be going around fancy shoe shops trying on expensive shoes with my feet looking as ugly as they do right now! *Note to self* Book in for pedicure on the 23rd/24th April!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

I dont like feet either. Cant wait for the day i can afford manicures and pedicures again! Pretty shoes ladies!
Jesus, those are some expensive shoes Dinah! Im suprised that you of all people would spend that on shoes. I'd be wearing them to wash the car and do the food shopping, just to get my moneys worth :rotfl:0 -
I consider good shoes an excellent investment. I've bought shoes from places like New Look before and they're uncomfy and look cheap, I wear them maybe twice, so even at £20 a pop that's £10 a wear. However most of my favourite shoes are from Nine West or Kurt Geiger, at £80-£220 a pop, and they last forever and I wear them all the time, cost per wear about £2 each. Ergo, spending on shoes is good financial sense
And in this instance mum is buying them anyway - haven't bought myself new shoes in about 2 years, although mum replaced my 1999 Nine West black ankle boots with 2009 Black ankle boots at Christmas (£120, and a bargain at that!)

And the reason I buy Hobbs shoes:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0 -
I agree with that logic! Although it doesn't stop me from buying cheap shoes!
It looks like we'll be going up and down Sloane Street when we're in London, it seems like shoe heaven! Although there have been reports of snooty shop assistants. Luckily my Mum can out-snoot any snooty assistant!
Oooh and I got a phonecall from the registry office, to get married in the little office will cost £43.50! Awesome! There's a £10 booking fee and £60-odd legal fees but that's a) cheaper than I thought and b) a LOT cheaper than getting all of our paperwork translated to get married when we're away so I know we're doing the right thing!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. I love Christian Louboutin! I saw a pair of nude courts in the sale on netaporter and so wish I had got them
I agree with you Dinah, all my heels (bar 2) are from KG - they're great shoes.

hiya birdie, i'm completely in love with your wedding! everytime i come on here you have added something to make me love it even more! the little bags for guests is so clever!
not wanting to hog your thread, but i'm curious about the registry thing. Me and OH aren't engaged or anything, but i'm odd, and just want to go away and get married me and him(he's fine with this-too many family problems to risk having a nice day ruined by other people etc) and then come back and do something low key with family etc. We were thinking italy-but the thought of getting married legally with the language barrier etc scared the crap out of me a bit! So how does it work the way you're doing it? if you're getting married here legally-what happens at your wedding?what do you need to do at the registry office etc- I'd never thought of it before, but its genius-just sounds a lot less stressful imoMortgage free wannabe #124
