    Hey Woo

I know the feeling! it's been an expensive month for me and although it's all budgetted for I feel like i should be spending it on paying D off rather than the holiday and things it's been going on but hey we have to live too.

We go away on Friday so i intend to get back into making more payments when i return. Not added to debt like you so that's a bonus!

CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)

    Hi DF

I'm sure you will come back from holiday feeling nice and fresh and ready to crack on with the debt busting.

The trouble with spending is, even when it's budgeted for, you get a taste for that way of living again - I most certainly do anyway!

Tell me about it - it's all to easy isn't it.....It's a serious learning curve and one which I don't know if people concur (sp!) ?

Either way - as long as we know we can work something out to avoid doing it - it's a shame it has to be a concious decision but if that's what it takes to not overspend then so be it!

    Hi Woo!

Taken me all day yesterday and this morning on and off to catch up on the last 2 months, you talk too much! :D

Really pleased to hear about the new man, hope it all carries on working out, sounds like you're having a lot of fun!

I'm sure you'll get your focus back soon, and even for now paying minimum payments and not adding to the debt is a major improvement on pre-LBM.

I liked Kat's summary of your achievements to date - especially selling the tutu! The big payments we all make from our wages are obviously important and we have to do them but it seems like the little things we do and the inventive money-makers we come up with are what keeps what would otherwise be a miserable journey fun! :D

I'm sure you'll be back in full debt-busting mode in no time xxx
Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j
  • It's true so long as you aren't adding to the debt then that is a good thing!
I think sometimes you have to lose focus a bit and cut yourself a bit of slack to allow you time to re-energise and then come back fighting (to use a cliche!). Just stick with it and I'm sure your motivation will come back. Just keep chipping away with the little payments and it will all follow.

Feel like I'm starting to get my motivation back

    Today has been a no-spend day :)

I have also logged on and done some surveys, I've remembered that its the little things that make a difference.

  • :D Glad to see your getting back into it, think we all go through stages where we feel really motivated and then other times just can't be ar**d and can't see the end, you will get there.

    Hi Pennywise

    Thanks for popping in :)

I think getting back into the habit of spending time on here is key for me, out of sight out of mind and all that!
