Can you have space in the kitchen you're sharing for food so you can do a proper shop? Or buy food between you and take it in turns to cook?

Yep really want to get cracking with it again, but its so much harder now my outgoings are much higher. I have to pay more rent than before and as I don't do a proper food shop now I seem to waste much more money.

I have been buying lunch from the sandwich van at work reasoning it was only £1.50 a day for a wrap, I put a stop to that from yesterday though as I realised that was costing me £30 a month!

It is hard with high outgoings, I found that when I lived on my own.

Maybe you could start with trying to tackle the food budget - even if it is just taking your own lunches to start with - maybe once that's under control it will feel easier to work out a new budget overall?

You've come this far, there's no way you'll fail! :)

It's a bit complicated in as much that her husband is moving back in at the end of the month so they are dating and sharing meals together again now.

Also I am never sure how many nights a week I will be spending at my lovely new boyfriends house, who is a fabulous cook!

We do share the cost of things like toilet roll, washing powder etc.

Definately no more buying sandwiches off the van! I think I will just live off pasta and stir in sauces, cheap and easy to just keep in the cupboard for when I'm there!

    1st goal:

Get Lloyds under £3k by the end of May - ok so only £337.85 needed to achieve this, but it seems like a good place to start :)

Get to £10.5k by end of May - currently £90 short of achieving this.
