I'm a real "lurker" on these boards (that sounds really sinister!). But have read right through your diary and just wanted to say a huge congratulations to you on paying off so much debt. Your diary is great. Really inspirational. I love all the little payments off your debts. Just goes to show it all helps! Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know that i've found your diary really helpful and motivating.

I've read your diary from start to finish and wanted to say thanks for what was an interesting read. I'm at an age where I should know better about debt and how to handle it especially as this is my third, yes, third time of falling into the trap. This has to be the last time for me and your diary has been such an inspiration that I've started making small payments on one cc. Unfortunately, it's been a bad month but the inroads I'd made have certainly meant that I've met all my minimum payments on time and I'm hoping that the overall amount owing is still less than it was last month. I even felt chuffed when I found 5p yesterday.

I feel like such a fraud at the moment as I just can't get my focus back! I'm not adding to my debt but minimum payments just aren't good enough if I ever want to be debt free!

Woo as long as you're not adding to it then you haven't competely fallen off the wagon. But the things about wagons is that you can get back onto them when you're in a better frame of mind.

Thanks LT, I have to clear Lloyds credit card this year if nothing else!

It's just I have no routine now and have gone from 6 no spend days a week to 0! It's much harder living on my own but I'm still having fun

I have been like you and lost my way a little but i am planning on getting back on track may even drop into ebay this weekend to see if I can make a few extra pennies.
Like others have said as long as you dont add to it and its still going down its going the right direction, maybe starting with one NSD a week and sending any money you may have spent to Lloyds.
