Have decided concentrating on my o/d is a really bad idea as I can still spend the money!

Am therefore back to focusing on my Lloyds c/c - all the money sent to o/d so far has now been transferred to c/c instead!

Why not pay off the o/d and then when you clear it down, close it down by that much?

I know just as much as everyone how hard they are to clear. Still going to be in the reserve - I just can't seem to shift it, however, I know if I could pay bits and bobs off something else (like I will be when the reserve is gone) it would be fine! I think I'm more excited about the reserve going than the rest of it (although when it's all gone that will be AMAZING!)

I agree you either have to focus on the credit cards OR reduce your limit as you pay it off. I would do the card first if that's a higher rate of interest though...

Am definatley sticking with the c/c. As I am only paying very small amounts off at the moment, I can't ring up and reduce the o/d by say £5 everytime - and if its sitting there I will spend it!

I can second the clearing o/d being very hard. I only cleared my £2k o/d because OH paid it off for me and gave me a £2k interest free loan :)

That's what I need, only an £11k interest free loan would be nice :)

Tell me about it - if someone could give me £16k interest free, that'd be lovely :D
