Have just amended my signature, it now includes what I owe my mum again - no sense lying to myself is there!

I am setting myself no goals or deadlines at the moment, just ticking along with it

I am going to start my penny pot again and pay this into the bank at the end of every month - so far I have 8p in there! I do have a bag of coins at home somewhere as well, which I will dig out and add to it!

Morning Woo, found your diary at last and it's a fab read so far, only on page 2!!
Funnily enough i've just been making up big jars for all change from 1ps to £2 coins. LOVE those £2 coins to go with the envelopes for food and diesel and dog etc etc. Right must get back to page 2 and i was going to do some ironing but i know who's going to win now:rotfl:

you've reminded me i should have a count up of my penny tin and put some in the bank. Generally it gets saved for arcades on holiday though, but not sure how we'll afford a holiday this year.

Well done on the payments Woo. I agree with slow and steady wins the race. You have been so many people's inspiration to get debt free and it's all with your small overpayments. It makes people think anyone can do it, better than hearing "I had £1k to put against something", especially as that's what most of us take home a month.

Guess what, i was getting middle child out of the car to go to the Post Office and i looked down to see a 5p coin :jso thank you for making me look down! When i walk the dog i'm normally looking at people's houses so now i'll be looking at the pavements
