Good luck with barclaycard, that was my worst card as the interest was dreadful, it was such a relief to get rid of it, still trying to cancel it, they said they would ring us back today, more likely we will ring them.

I also have a Barclay Card Platinum after this one so my dealings with them won't be completely over unfortunately. One card at a time though is all I can do.

Hope you manage to get your account closed today, you'd soon be able to get hold of them if you still owed them money.

Had the car checked out at the garage - the computer showed it has 3 faults, however for now we have just cleared the engine management light and are hoping that it doesn't come back on. Fingers crossed.

If so the repairs will be around £100 I think, so not quite the £500 I was anticipating.

Definately one card/debt at a time. Im with you on that one. My next one to go is virgin, and then the remaining 3 are all with lloyds. I find it a lot easier tackling one at a time and more manageable.

Another £5.76 sent to the Barclay Card today, another £241.61 to go.

Have been reflecting on my debt busting today and when I think of what I have managed to achieve so far, I only wish I had pulled my head out of the sand so much sooner. Better late than never though!

Your right Herewego, I found 6p on the floor last night. It had clearly been there for years and looks rather worse for wear, not actually convinced the bank will accept them!

On the downside had my Lloyds credit card statement today, I recently changed my statement date and this has led them to apply around £70 more in interest than I had anticipated taking me back over £10,000. Nevermind this one is next on my hit list starting at the end of March and I will soon bring it back down.
